This is a must for an avid pool player. I only use the tan side and it really cleans up your cue and makes it nice and smooth without really removing any material from the shaft. Just get it. Once you use it, it will become a no brainier.Sure you could use 2000 grit sandpaper but this is better and classier.

Was initially disappointed when I opened the package and all it was was this boring circle pad. This innocent looking pad turned out to be a miracle pad! I had a small gouge in my pool cue, enough to be annoying and affect my playing. This little pad worked wonders! It smoothed it out like magic perfectly. I was also worried about damaging the wood, discoloring it or something - but it was perfect with no issues. I followed up with Q Wax and my cue looks and feels smooth now. Has improved my playing ability too, since the annoying little dent is gone. Absolutely the best for gently removing small indentations from your pool cue!

I keep this in my cue case. This thing is pretty good in a pinch, but be careful it will take finish off. Especially the green side. It is washable, and can be used again. Worth buying.

all what this is is just 2 different grit sanding papers glued together, and they work amazing at polishing the shaft. i clean my shaft once every few months with a magic eraser and finish it off with both sides of this to get a buttery smooth finish on my shaft. i also use some cue doctor wax to seal and protect it and i honestly have difficulty distinguishing the line from the urethane coating.my only issue with the Q Wiz is that the green side is impossible to get back to its original green color. and the durability of it does not seem as long as i had hoped after only using mine about 6 times it has developed a few cracks, but for the price it is well worth it to buy a few.

Great product, makes smooth cues, easy to was in kitchen sink and reuse. I use this as my everyday option, and mix in McDermott McMagic that has up to 7500 grit paper, for a smooth glass like finish.

It's a good little product. To clean my cue shaft, I first Cue Doctor Cue Shaft Cleaner and then finish by polishing the shaft using the tan side of the Q Wiz. I just don't like how the green side of the Q Wiz takes off some of the finish of the shaft.
