The Quictent Heavy Duty 10x15FT Carport Shelter installed in about 3+ hours and additionally I also installed better stakes to tie it down at each leg and a couple of other improvements. There had not been any reviews to provide information that was lacking.Assembling the frame and attaching the covering for the top and sides, including back and a zippered front, was easy enough even doing it myself. A nice step ladder is needed to get to the top area and pull the canvas into place. Note it is hard to tell the direction of the canvas and I was pulling it in place 90° off before realizing it needed to be rotated. I have used the bungee cord fasteners with a previous cover in the past and found they eventually deteriorate, but they are easy to use. You can put the foot pads on the legs before adding the canvas! The side rail pieces pull tension on the canvas as they attach to the legs and make that easy. BTW, the spiral anchors I used allowed me to bolt the foot pads directly to the top of the anchors.I thought it came with both ends having a zippered door that would roll up when open, but only one end is zippered and the other end attached with bungee cords fasteners. Note that there is Velcro pads on the outside of the door and back, and the vent cover is on the outside of each (it does not roll up as the ad states) and screen on the inside of the shelter. Rolling up the shelter's zippered door is not easy to align without help on each end and I used an 1 x 2 inch board 8 foot long stapled to the bottom edge of the door that allows it to be rolled up easily at the middle. It is assumed that the excess canvas lays out on the ground at the base of the tent to drain the water away from the tent. Some people bury that excess canvas and add extra strength and sturdiness to the tent. I used some tubes from a previous tent to attach with duct tape to the edge of this canvas and roll up where it is out of the way and prevent movement with a gust of wind. The canvas has extra material overlaying in a strip along the peak and top side frame tubing and you should align the locations since they are pressure and rubbing points. The top four corners of the canvas top are made to hug the frame.NOTE: As you use the bungee cords you will find no instructions. The grommet holes in the tarp need to align where they are next to each other so that each bungee loops through both grommet holes and around the frame tube! There are 32 bungees and most will do double duty as they stretch 2-3 inches between a couple of grommets holes (PICTURES).They also provide four pieces of rope that can be used with small ground anchors and tied near the top four corners of the shelter where a loop is provided. And on the inside are the aligned holes of the side and front canvas to attach to the corner poles. Velcro is used on the outside overlap of the sides to attach to the back and front on each side. There is not much of it, but if everything is fitted properly the velcro is only there to keep the wind from flapping the pieces at times. In summary the tent does not shows signs of durability. An errant piece of duct tape that was removed from the shelter's surface pulled away bids of the coating. This means the canvas will deteriorate from weathering, too. But the shelter is unique to my needs and the alternatives were lacking so I felt I'd give it a shot. So far it looks great and is doing the job!
