I have two issues with these. First off, it said red. When I got them the color is not red. Second there is a spring inside acting as a grip to the M8 thread of a stand. Guess what, it rattles! Returned them as a toy gimmick. Don’t buy. Go with Pearl Cymbal Toppers instead, no rattle.

It quickly locks down my cymbals down perfectly as I tried today. I put on the larger or bigger 8mm threads. I use a cymbal topper over a smaller 6mm thread. I put the Quick Set... lock on the 6mm just to try it. It didn't work as well. As that the cymbal extension topper is 8mm it worked perfectly.8mm post works great.6mm post not so good.Works great now. We'll see what time does to the Quick Set... cymbal locks.
