Update: July 2024. I got another bad batch of cards, and even Pyramid would not take them back unless they are unopened. So, WARNING: If you order more than one pack to save on Bulk, try one pack to see if it will work. If not stop, and return all the rest before you open the others. The seller wanted me to send them back to Pyramid. I am not happy that Pyramid saw the same picture I have here showing the difference in card quality, and would do nothing about it because they did not sell them to me, or I tried a card out of 100 and it can't be returned because it was opened.If you color in the black bars on the side with a black marker, they work. So I guess each employee will be coloring for a few minutes to start their work week for a while.Try a card from one pack right away.I have ordered a lot of these cards on Amazon. In 2023, I have had to return over a dozen 100ct packs because sometimes the black on the sides is not printed dark enough that the time card reader sensor can not see them. I believe it may be who the seller is. When they arrive, try a card from each pack. If they don't work, I return them and get a replacement pack. If the replacement doesn't work, I try again. With free shipping and returns, Amazon can either fix the problem of the bad sellers, or keep eating the cost of shipping defective items back and forth. In the picture I posted, the left card work, and the right side card does not, and you can see difference in the black.

I called the company that makes this, Pyramid, and had a few questions about this time card. The time cards I have for the second store that we work with have old time cards, so we opted to try this time card machine. Anyway, the representative for this company was very helpful and gave me various options to choose from in terms of purchasing. I am trying this and it is a great product.
