The pack of 4 dinosaur puzzles is a great set for 6 and under. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the finished puzzle is printed on the flat panel to make it easy for the little ones to learn to build the images and 'match' to find the pieces. We were doing them on carpet and at first I looked for a hard book or other item to place down, only to realize I didn't have to, as the wood back panel on the puzzles is sufficient to easily put them together.The pieces themselves are also wood. This means they are more sturdy, but also don't have that little 'give' that cardboard has to the children do have to be taught to line up the pieces perfectly or they won't easily click into place. We loved doing these puzzles, and seemed to be enjoyable for both the toddler and the preschooler who just turned 5.

four wooden jigsaw puzzles with cute cartoon images of various mesozoic reptiles. I really, really appreciate that these images are drawn by a real human, not an AI. they're really cute! I especially like the sauropod family and the incredibly-happy spinosaurus smiling at a grouchy stegosaur. the art is actually pretty accurate for a bunch of cartoons, too.each puzzle comes inside a frame with a removable guide image in the cut-out part where the puzzle fits. I appreciate that the image (which is on a piece of paper) can be left there to make it easier to complete the puzzle, or can be taken out to make it more challenging. the pieces fit together snugly and don't have any splinters.overall quite nice, it would make a good present.

Several absolute misses for this puzzle.Main one is that only a handful of the pieces are uniquely shaped, and many are the exact same shape. Each puzzle is a 24 piece puzzle, but there are only 14 unique shapes, which means there are 10 shapes that are the same as others. So it's very easy to put the wrong piece in the wrong spot because many of the pieces fit together. This is like those advanced jigsaw puzzles you can buy for adults. Even my 9 year old was annoyed with this. Not sure how a younger kid would do.The second drawback of this puzzle set is that the base/tray isn't blank but has the exact same picture printed on it as the pieces. You would think this would help, especially since many of the pieces are interchangeable and fit into the wrong spots, but because there is no real difference in contrast between the puzzle piece and the background, it actually makes it more difficult to figure out which piece is missing and which piece has already been placed.Lastly, for a young child's puzzle, the edges and corners of the puzzle pieces are way too sharp.Well at least the puzzle pieces fit (relatively) well and the colors are vibrant, but the wood used to make this puzzle is very lightweight and could break easily if your kid is rough with the pieces. It came wrapped up in shrinkwrap and maybe that's why it has such a strong wood/lumber odor, but that dissipated after leaving the pieces out for a day.Compared to the well known manufacturer of wood based kid toys and puzzles sold at the big box stores this is notably inferior. I would not recommend.

This set of four tray puzzles is really colorful with super cute illustrations of dinosaur themes and different dinosaurs. The reference picture for each puzzle comes in its tray so the puzzle can be completed by matching the pieces over the reference section. The reference can also be removed from the tray to complete the puzzle in the more traditional sense.The pieces are nicely sized and can be gently cleaned if needed. These will certainly stand up to repeated use. Very glad to have them added to our puzzle collection here!

The quality is great, and the size of the pieces is perfect for the suggested age range. My son is four years old, and with a little help from his older sister, he’s able to put these puzzles together — and he absolutely loves doing it.The wooden pieces feel sturdy and durable, and the dinosaur designs are colorful and fun. It’s been a great way for them to bond and also build problem-solving skills. Perfect gift for young kids who love dinosaurs and puzzles.

My little girl loves doing puzzles and this seemed like a great price for a set of 4 wooden ones. She is a toddler so having a wooden puzzle is ideal as the pieces are way more durable than a standard puzzle. I like that each one has its own frame too so you don't have to try to find a smooth surface to build it on. The dinosaur pictures are also very fun. This is a great buy in my opinion.

These puzzles are quite nice. The colors are vibrant and the pieces are nicely thick. They each come in a bordered tray you can build in (which has the puzzle picture printed in it, so depending on the age kids could build on top of the picture or if that is too easy do it on a table without the picture). You can see this in the attached pic.The pieces fit well together and the puzzle can be picked up when together (gently of course). For around $5 a puzzle these are a great deal.The only thing I could see making it better is if the puzzles weren't all the same theme. Maybe have one dinosaur, one insect, one underwater, one jungle or what have you. That said, kids do tend to get on a theme and go with it so maybe all the same theme is better. Either way I am very happy with these and I think they should hold up over time.

This wooden puzzle is fantastic! I got it for my niece, and she absolutely loves it. The pieces are sturdy, smooth, and perfectly sized for little hands. It’s both fun and educational, helping her with shape and color recognition. The quality is impressive, and the vibrant colors make it very appealing. A great choice for early learning and playtime!
