Simple, lightweight design and sturdy. The wood pieces just fit together without any tools needed, but they go together tightly, so there was no concern for me that they could slip apart. Worked nicely for displaying a collectible plate, but the base has enough depth for bowls as well. The wood makes for a classier holder than other metal displays. Overall, an inexpensive option to display your most cherished plates or bowls.

Real wood, dark stain with pronounced grain - not sure of the wood used.More details, the depth of the stand is quite deep. I am using it for an ipad and it has an abundance of depth for it. You could easily place a record or book in the stand.

I really wanted to like this display stand more than I do. The wood is a nice upgrade from the old black wire display stand from the crafts store, and it is deep enough for my weird vintage ashtray. However, I do not think the construction is very precise. The pieces should fit together like Lincoln Logs, but they are tight and not well-fitted. This results in a stand that doesn't quite sit level. With a bit of elbow grease I was able to get it to hold my dish without too much wobbling, but it will never be perfectly straight. If it had been better made, five stars. As it is, it's just ok.

Picked this up not to display a plate or bowl, but it's certainly up to that task. It's light but sturdy. The texture is a novel stained-but-not-varnished one, so this wouldn't be super well suited to somewhere wet or with a lot of wide humidity variations. It does fit together properly, but tightly; nothing but banging on it pretty good got it to eventually go together.

This is so versatile! Got this to hold my kiddos handmade plate at a wider angle. Other metal plate stands seemed too risky with her always running past the server - I have no worries about this one tipping over or rolling out. It's also secure when putting larger bowls in it. Honestly LOVED how it looked with the hand turned bowls. Ordered the 4.5 inch. The wooden bowls in the pictures are roughly 14" and 12". I even tested it out as a book stand on our bar. Light weight pine (feels like holding air) and easy to pop together – the back sort of nests together in the carved notches. It's snug enough to not worry about it coming apart but also easy to push together. This one is a HUGE win in our house :)

I am absolutely thrilled with these pine wood bowl stands! They have genuinely transformed the way I display my decorative bowls and other cherished items. If you're looking to add a touch of elegance and stability to your home, office, or gallery, these stands are an absolute must-have.The quality of the pine wood is evident right out of the box – it's nicely crafted and adds a clean, elegant touch to any surface. What truly sets these apart is the X-shaped structure. This cross-style design isn't just for looks; it provides incredibly reliable support and enhanced balance. I've placed some of my heavier, deeper ceramic bowls on them, and they feel perfectly secure with no wobbling or risk of tipping. Plus, they're surprisingly easy to set up and move around.I also love the three size options (3.5-inch, 4.5-inch, and 6.5-inch). This range means there's a perfect fit for virtually anything, from my smaller decorative pieces to larger statement items. They're not just for bowls either! I've used them to display plates, a favorite photo frame, and even a unique agate. Their multi-functionality makes them incredibly versatile. The quality packaging and premium feel also make this an unprecedented present. I'm already thinking of getting a few more as gifts for friends. It's rare to find something so practical yet so aesthetically pleasing.Highly, highly recommend the PUERSIbowl display stands for anyone wanting to improve their display quality and secure their valuable items with style!

This is a nice stand but it is not made for plates. The base is so wide that the plate is almost laying down.

Yes, this plate stand is wood, (I'm not certain what kind) and the wood block design is clever and very sturdy, but in all honesty I simply cannot use this stand because the plate leans so far back. You can't tell at all from the Amazon photo. When you see a photo of the plate and stand from the front, it appears to stand upright. If you look at my photos, you will see how the plate really sits on the stand. Just an additional observation: the box that this stand comes in refers to it as a "bowl stand." That makes a lot more sense, given how far back the plate leans. If your display plate leaning back that far isn't a problem for you, then you will probably like this wood plate stand.
