There is definately a reason they give you 3 of these.Sheet 1:I cleaned the surface with the cleaning rag provided. Thinking it was clean, I began applying the first screen protector. The cleaning pad had slightly disintegrated as I cleaned it and after I applied it, there were little yellow specs all over the game pad.Sheet 2:I cleaned with a separate rag and used the old sticky applicator to clean off any extra lint. I began to apply the 2nd sheet only to be left with around 1,000 air bubbles all over the screen. Not only were there 1,000 air bubles, but the sheet was too big for the screen. This left even larger air bubbles at each end.I'm now left with 1 sheet and I'm not even sure it's worth trying to put on. If the 1st two were too big for the screen. Also, it's near impossible to apply without air bubbles because the screen is set lower than the surround. It's very difficult to apply.

I recently bought a Wii U, and after a few short hours of gameplay, I realized I should probably invest in a screen protector.Any time I buy something with a screen (phone, 3ds, wii u), I HAVE to have a screen protector. Would rather replace a piece of plastic than an expensive piece of equipment. I used to only go for the name brands or whatever was recommended by the manufacturer, but after seeing 3 packs popping up, I've branched out to cheaper brands.I read a lot of people have gotten random sizes and have had issues with this brand. But this screen protector does exactly as advertised; covers the screen (perfect fit for wii u), prevents scratches, as it seems to be a pretty durable film of plastic, and gives me peace of mind that I won't be shelling out over 100x the cost of the protectors over a new gamepad.FOR THOSE SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: I've put on several screen protectors, I've had my good and bad ones. This is a good one. I almost didn't buy because a good amount of reviews say 'it renders the touch screen inactive'. I put this screen protector on, which was super easy if you're used to doing this, and have had exactly 0 issues with the gamepad's response. If anything, I'm more comfortable pressing a bit harder on the screen, making it easier to use.So I can't say I speak for every item sold, because sometimes companies WILL screw you over, which I've been burned a few times via amazon. But this product is fantastic. I ended up throwing out the first piece, but only because the sticky end picks up debris VERY quickly and will not come off. But once you get this on? You're good to go. Highly recommended, especially since it's already cheaper than just ONE of the hori brand, and it comes with 3!

This 3-pack of Wii-U gamepad screen protectors is well-priced and eForCity provided fast shipping. Unfortunately the product failed to meet expectations as application was incredibly difficult due to the size of the screen, and a successful application rendered the touchscreen unusable. The first screen protector I attempted to apply was too large. I tried to slip two edges slightly under the bezel of the gamepad in hopes it would fit. This wasn't feasiblet, so I removed it and moved onto #2.The second screen protector JUST fit the screen, however it did require a fair amount of effort to line up and press down along the edges. Forcing out bubbles was just as tedious as it is with any other screen protector. Once the film was applied, I powered on the Wii U only to find the gamepad's touch screen, d-pad, and face buttons useless [however shoulder buttons were still functional]. I didn't think it would be from the film, so I began troubleshooting elsewhere. After much trial and error with syncing, resyncing, and even resetting the battery, I was able to boot up a game via a Pro controller. It turns out that the screen protector is acting as a constant touch input, meaning that touch functionality can't register, nor can face button inputs.I'll be trying out other screen protectors.

I bought this for my husband. The delivery was fast and the quality and size were great.I did learn to apply this kind of screen protector on my iPhone. But to apply it on a WiiU gamepad is a bit challenging, because:- the screen is bigger- I dont know why after I wiped it, there were still dust on it. I wiped again and again, finally it looked clean enough to put on the protector.I would like to share with you a tip in putting this kind of protector on - scotch tape. It helps even after you remove the 'step 2' layer, especially when you found bubbles due to dust. Use left hand with scotch tape to leave the protector up, and use right hand with scotch tape to stick away the dust (which can be on the screen or under the protector). Make sure you do it lightly, because you don't want neither of the screen or the protector gets too sticky.Hope it helps! :)

I would probably have given this 2.5 stars if I could have, however did not feel it deserved only two. It was cheap shipped quickly, and did fit properly. The problems I had with it is that I had the screen completely cleaned on my wii-u pad, and after peeling the backing off of protector It seemed to me like it was very statically charged. Dust clung to the bottom before I could even move it the few inches to the screen. there was a pet hair and several pieces of dust under the cover, which left really bad air bubbles. I had to remove it (and it would not have been reusable) and place a new one on it. I had a similar issue with the second one just not as bad.As for functionality it seems fine, however i noticed tapping and dragging is a bit harder, if you do a light touche and drag it registers as a tap.
