Your cart is empty.A direct replacement for the Nikon DK19 Eyecup. The ProMaster 1217 eyecup has a soft cushion surrounding it for comfortable viewing, especially for eyeglass wearers. It helps to shield light, making it easier to see the viewfinder. This eyecup assembly includes 3 pieces. The soft, silicone shield and metal retainer ring work together to hold the eyecup securely on the camera. There is also a clear, optical glass eyepiece housed in a metal ring with knurled edges. This smaller ring is a replacement for the Nikon DK-17. It works in conjuntion with the soft eyecup and retainer ring to form a complete assembly that can simply be screwed into the round, threaded eyepiece socket on the camera. Did not work as a ring came off out of package and no instructions. Better products out there. Going to return.

Well made, and the installation instructions were accurate and helpful. You do have to be a bit coordinated to fit the eyepiece to your camera, but it's well worth the little time and effort needed to attach the piece.

This is the entire DK-19 eyepiece, the protective glass, threaded metal ring around the glass, and rubber eyecup around the metal ring. Just unscrew the original eyepiece and screw this one in. Fits perfectly and is a good eyecup. Keeps stray light from getting into the viewfinder.

Shipping was lightning fast. And as a bonus, this came with the threaded part that attaches to the camera. That was a pleasant surprise. I had seen a video showing how to remove that part from the DK-17 (the flat eyepiece that came with my camera) and insert it into the DK-19 rubber eyecup. It looked doable but not how I prefer to spend my time. With this one, I just unscrewed the old part and screwed this one on. Easy peasy.
