There is nothing wrong with the screws but the plastic bucket they come in was shattered. The box was not damaged so no screws were lost. I picked up the screws and placed them in other containers.

Overall, these screws are of good quality. The bucket price was much less than buying multiple small packs, so we thought it'd be a great deal. Plus we'd have a storage container. But to our dismay the bucket arrived completely cracked. Screws were everywhere in the box- many pointing out of it, and I'm sure a few had fallen out in transit. The container was packaged with one measly piece of the large plastic 'air bubble' strips that Amazon often uses for shipping. Needless to say it did not cushion the bucket at all, and in doing so- broke the bucket apart completely. With that being said, I'm not going to rate the product based purely on the shipping. But because the bucket wasn't durable enough to make it through shipping- I did downgrade it a star. As I feel like the bucket is part of the purchase, and wasn't quite durable enough for the weight it was carrying. So what about the screws? They're very well made. The threads get into and stay in all kinds of wood. We've used them to make a variety of things including a wood-stove sauna, dog house, and some basic home repairs. The heads aren't cheaply made. They hold up really well through rigorous driving. I don't think I've had a single one 'strip'. They work really well with our Dewalt.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. The screws are what we needed- and they're good quality. Wish the bucket would have made it through shipping, but I blame that partly on Amazon.

At big home improvement stores you'll pay around $22 for a 5 pound box. These are the same exact screws and less per pound. Just remember drywall screws are NOT structurally supporting screws and can NOT be used on treated lumber. I use for simple interior wall framing when the wall is not load bearing and to keep the wall from moving laterally.

I've used many buckets of these. They are great for drywall. They have sharp tips and start easy. And with a decent drill should have no problem getting them just dimpled into drywall. I got my last bucket on amazon for $25 through Amazon Warehouse deals since it was an open product I guess, which was more than half off the amazon price, which was already cheaper than box stores when you count amazons no-tax advantage.
