Great booklet for kids like my daughter who need a lot of repetitive practice when learning/practicing handwriting this summer between grades. I was initially looking for a notebook that had all lines and no space for drawing - since my daughter is not exciting about drawing - but now I think the space at the top is quite versatile. She can draw sometimes, or write free flow letters, or cut and paste letters from a magazine, etc. I like that the lines align with other practice notebooks she might see at school with the blue line on top, red line on bottom, and dotted lines in between.I do find the paper to be a bit on the thin side... especially when we glue things on the top portion, but it's worked out so far.Recommend!

My daughter is entering first grade and needed composition books. These fit the bill and I am really impressed with them. The colors are nice and the line spacing is wide enough for large writing; I also like that they have space for illustrations as well to write stories, which is unusual for composition books, but a positive. The paper thickness is good, pencils don't tear through it. I would get these again.

These notebooks have been so beneficial for my kiddo who is soon to be in 1st grade! They’ve been awesome for practicing writing, and the empty space on each page allows you to draw out your thoughts, which is great for increasing creativity. Teachers usually have these on the supply list and I think these ones are better quality than the ones at W@lmart.

I ordered these for my son’s school supplies and he loves purple so I thought a purple and a blue one would be perfect for him. However I received a purple and a pink one, not a huge deal he’s just not a big fan of the pink one.

Great set of primary notebooks. Has an area for pictures and then ruled lines for story writing. Our 5 year old loved these and continued to use them now that he’s 6.
