I was skeptical….and didn’t know what to expect. I thought it would be a bit longer and intended to use it as a huggable body pillow…and it does kinda work for that where one end gives a “wedge” between the knees and you can hug the other end with your arms. I also used it as lumbar and back support for side sleeping and it’s pretty comfortable, sometimes the styrofoam beads bunch, but you just squirm a bit to readjust and find your comfort. My favorite is using it as lumbar support in my rocking chair.

The material is softer than it appears in the photo.The only gripe I have is that the instructions made it a little confusing on how to use the product.Also - the silicone grip at either end of the pillow is very tight, making it difficult to stuff the material through the small hole. It definitely stays in place once on but it would be annoying to constantly take out and put back on. I also am not sure how the material of the cover and pillow would hold up overtime.I used the pillow last night and do attest to it being very comfortable. It does not put any pressure on my belly and cradles me nicely. I actually prefer this over my small wedge pillow I have for my belly.I do look forward to using this once the newborn is here.
