The stainless steel hardware is spaced in a pattern of 3/4" then 7/16" These closures are made in the USA and are deadstock from Stayfast, which manufactured for major lingerie brands. These are vintage stock and may have a residual musty smell. We recommend washing in vinegar to remove any remaining odors. One pair of hook and eye tape contain 2 pieces, the hook side and the eye side. The eyes are generally on the right side of the garment and the hooks are on the left. They are made from nylon tricot and have a plush back for comfort. The hooks and eyes can be zigzagged over the edge to reduce irritation from a fuse cut edges for sensitive skin. These closures contain three columns of eyes for adjusting, spaced 5/8" apart. The nickel free hardware is nylon coated and dyed to match.
