Some of my biners can't release over the bottom and have to go through the tool gate. It is hard plastic. I wish it were aluminum and a touch thinner.

I use this item every time I go up on my tree saddle. It holds saws, spare ropes, carabiners and sometimes it holds webbing straps.

The P42L is Monster!Chain saws, climbing accessories, it doesn't care, it handles them.The smaller P42 is a great companion clip, and are best used on Petzl Harnesses as designed for specifically, but certainly not limited to.And my seller is GREAT!

Of course Petzl makes top notch equipment so you won’t be disappointed. It’s taking me some time to get used to this way of keeping my saw but it stops it from snagging my pants legs when climbing. Like it so far

Wie von Petztl zu erwarten... ein robustes Produkt welches super verarbeitet ist!Die Größe ist sehr gut! Ich verwende den Karabiner um extra Material an meinem Klettergurt zu befestigen, da dieser immer mit Material überfüllt ist.Wem es auch so geht, kann ich dieses Teil nur empfehlen! (ich hab mir gleich 2 gekauft! ^^)Dafür dass dieser Karabiner nur aus Plastik ist hab ich gedacht dass er nur wenig Traglast hat aber er hält wirklich eine Menge aus! (mehr als 15kg, wenn es drauf ankommt)Der Gürtelclip erfüllt seinen Zweck auch gut, und hilft bei der Befestigung sehr, und verrutscht nicht.Preis/ Leistung ist absolut vertretbar.

Size L is too large to be useful on a standard harness. The regular size is great for bags and petzl adjama and similar harnesses.I use it to clip gear other than ice picks. So look to an ice climber for more specific advice. Definitely buy both sizes. You can clip the large in your closet like me when you realize it's too big.
