  • Yes, but not immediately after opening. KMR powder can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months after opening and then must be refrigerated. (KMR powder can be used up to 1 additional month after refrigeration.)

  • We suggest feeding a kitten 2 tablespoons of liquid or reconstituted powder milk replacer per 4 ounces of body weight in a 24 hour period. For instance, a kitten weighing 8 ounces should receive 4 tablespoons of formula within 24 hours.

  • No, each of our PetAg formulas are designed for the specific nutritional needs of the species (ie, dog or cat) and they are not interchangeable.

  • The fat and protein levels on powdered milk replacers are higher because they reflect the nutrients of the undiluted powder. After adding 2 parts water, the fat and protein content will match that of the liquid milk replacer.

  • No. Milk Replacers are perishable products. If a formula appears to be spoiled in any way, it should NEVER be fed to an animal.

Life saving product. Found 5 day old kittens after their mother was killed. Had so many worries dealing with these babies being so young. I did a lot of research about a good quality replacement milk and it always came back to this brand. They loved it and grew fast and strong. No problems with this formula. Each container was fresh. Smelled so good! When I had to reorder Amazon offered overnight delivery. Many times if I ordered in the morning it was on my porch by early evening. If I forgot to order on time, they would deliver between 4am to 7am. Really something to wake-up in the morning and have these supplements, that were so important for these babies, waiting right at the door. It’s deliveries like this that really make Amazon shine.

My little cat is about 5 or 6 weeks old, he already eats solid food, but he stills asking for some milk at night to be completely full. I think this product also help him to get all the vitamins he needs and keep him hydrated. It’s also easy to prepare, just add 2 portions of water for 1 kmr

My 4 kittens love it but 1 tin only last for 21/-3 days. Definetly a value bcuz paid more at petco.Delivery suck mod times it takes 2-3 days with Prime.

Even mom cats love this. I had to start by syringe feeding because kittens didn't understand to lick it. Maybe I started them too soon at 4 weeks since mom was still nursing. Eventually I got them licking it, then added it to canned food as well. I love that it doesn't need refrigeration!

Love the thickness of this one too … works so great for kittens or cats .. have a kitten I rescued from neighborhood dogs .. have no clue if someone dropped the litter off or what .. I live way out in a rural area … asked all the neighbors.. no ones .. so me and a neighbor took the 3 kittens in .. mine, I buy this milk for as she is maybe 3 months old now (was maybe 3 weeks when rescued) she is still on the small size as she was taken from her mom to soon .. but when I have this she grows like a weed for a week .. I’ve gotten 2 of these so far and will buy again.. the kitten has always ate can cat food but she needs the vitamins it doesn’t have…. Decent price for as well … all my cats love this formula… but I only give to the baby .. I did make the others a taste of it they loved it as well 😆 believe me when I say if you’re needing a supplement or have a sick cat .. or even a recovering one this is awesome!! It’s like a oatmeal consistency, gentle on the stomach for them too !! I’ve bottle fed litters mostly cats but have fed all animals.. I was raised on a farm .. raised my kids on the farm too .. but now I’m retired and still help all the critters I can… from goat milk to homemade vitamin milk … and if they’re eating any food this is the best to help them grow ! My kitten drinks it. I got this as a supplemental treat before bed because she was looking to nurse on my hands at times. This has curbed that habit.However, the can I received had no lid. Once I removed the pull tab pop top, I had to use cling wrap to create a makeshift lid. Luckily, I had a can of bread crumbs that was nearly empty and the same size so that solved my problem.Overall, the product is good but the packaging was problematic.

Great product, kittens always enjoy this new taste after being on step one for a while. They always grab on to the bottle during feeding when first introduced! I also use it with adult cat that are sick, they wi often drink it and keep them hydrated.
