So its been 4 years. I need to order new ones for a new house we just purchased. The part that makes the unique is that from the outside you can hang a pad lock. But it can be a faux pad lock. We have our contractors come up and ask us to unlock the gate so they can gain access to the backyard. So from the outside it actually looks as though the pad lock has locked the gate. The trick is they pad lock can be placed in a non functional hole if you choose so it appears to be locked on the outside. Then when we go out of town we put a pin in the hole on the inside a boom its locked. We love the idea that the deadbolt on the outside stops most people from even trying to access out backyard yet you can lift the handle and boom you are inside. Fake sense of security is great and just put the pin inside if you want to really lock it.
