We love all our Peg Perego products but this falls a little short for us. The stroller is a little heavy and hard to maneuver. The seat belts are hard to adjust also but the worst feature are the wheels. The slightest change on elevation or bump causes the wheels to spin around and lockup or turn sideways and bend. It becomes a giant headache instantly on anything other than pavement/concrete. For an 800+ dollar product we just expected better quality and maneuverability

I got this stroller because I had a peg perego nido car seat and wanted a double stroller to match. I thought a tandem would have been easier to fit through doorways so chose this over the double booklet. What I didn’t know based on other reviews was that you have to take the seats off to fold it. It’s a big pain to have to do that every time you need to put it in the car. Also, with my 3 row SUV it will only fit with the 3rd row down because of those removed seats. It’s also very heavy so I have a hard time setting it up. It’s heavy to push and doesn’t have a great turning radius. I recently bought a double jogging stroller for $200 and it’s 1000x easier to deal with. I originally wanted to travel with this stroller but without a stroller bag I wouldn’t know what to do with the seats. While this is a good quality stroller and my kids like it, it’s not easy enough for me to use as a regular stroller.

Likes:- Not too heavy for a double stroller- Easy to use and maneuver- Car seat and stroller seat are very easy to attach and detach- Large basket at the bottom fits many things needed for 2 babiesDislikes:- No locking mechanism after the stroller is folded. It keeps popping open in the trunk and we have to make sure we have it against something to avoid damages- The stroller seats are not too wide and not good leg support (my daughter is 20 months and i already see we won’t be able to use it long term and for that reason doesn’t feel like it’s worth the price).- For a stroller this expensive the seats don’t have a tray attachment which is always included even in the cheapest of brands.- It would be nice to have some sort of tray at the top for parents to keep keys, phone etc. (C’mon..It’s a double stroller… the parent needs to be as free as possible to handle 2 babies at once)Shipping issues:- There were some dirt marks on the equipment which went away after wiping with a damp cloth.- After watching some videos and reading the manual we realized some parts are missing from this package.

We have two of this manufacturer's high chairs for our twins so I had a good idea of the build quality of this buggy. The seats are easy to attach and detach, the flexibility of the set up is very good. About the only quibble I have is that the weight distribution has to be right or the steering is not as good and also the length of this thing means putting it the trunk of our SUV has to be carefully done.

So far enjoying the ease of the stroller.Wish the seat's foot rest tilted up to create an enclosed newborn sleeping space. Also wish the stroller came with a rain cover that fit the entire duette set up rather than just over the individual seats.Heads up!! On a hill triple check the brake has been set properly. Can release easily if not clicked into place.

I ordered this stroller hoping it would work for my twins but it just doesn't. The car seats clip on and off no problem without an adapter which is awesome. The problem is the recline...there is no configuration in which both seats can recline at the same time without squashing one baby's legs or them kicking each other. I need my kids to be able to nap in their stroller when they are older so this is not going to work for me and I had to return it. If you had a newborn and a toddler this would be awesome. Toddler could sleep slightly reclined. Just know that although it's possible to recline both seats completely...it's not sensible because you had to think where their legs would be! I feel like this could be easily remedied by the manufacturer.

This is a review of the Peg Perego Duette Piroet, introduced in 2016. The Piroet is an improved version of the Peg Perego Duette SW. Most online video reviews are of the discontinued model, which was heavier and apparently less transportable. The Piroet is an amazing find. It was much more expensive than any other in-line stroller I could find, but you get what you pay for. The twins love it, because they can see each other at eye level and entertain each other when the seats are turned to face one another. It is very comfy. The canopy can be opened all the way or pulled down to the feet. When the twins fall asleep, they don’t have to be disturbed at the end of the ride. You gently lift the seat off the chassis, kid and all, by grasping the armrests and squeezing the safety release. The seat reclines almost 180 degrees, and the footrests can be raised level. It has a five-point harness. Because it is inline instead of double-wide, it fits through normal doorways and down grocery aisles. The build quality is outstanding. The stroller was designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, and it shows. The frame is made of tubular aluminum and is very sturdy. The wheels are large and turn and swivel freely. There is very little rolling resistance. It has a shock-absorbing suspension. Practically everything on it is adjustable, but there are no pinch traps. It is easy to maneuver and easy to turn. It is pleasing to the eye.You fold it by pressing a release button and lifting two levers on the handle. The whole thing swings closed. You can close it with both seats attached or with one or both removed. When it is closed, you can lift it with one hand by grasping a designated bar. If you want to carry it all in the trunk of a standard sedan, you remove the seats first, fold them, and pack them separately. It takes about five seconds to release each seat from the chassis and another five to fold. The chassis weighs 28 pounds and the two seats together add 14 pounds more. My daughter puts the chassis on the front passenger seat to save trunk space. My guess is that, altogether, the Piroet uses more cubic feet than a standard folding stroller. My advice to doting grandparents of twins is, if you want to win big points with the next two generations, consider splurging on this ride.

I can't say enough about Peg Perego and this stroller. This thing is the Cadillac of of strollers. The ease of driving this stroller, the incredible strength and quality of this stroller are surpassed by few, if any. It rides so smooth, and looks great. Big plus is that our primmo vaggio 4/35 snaps on like a breeze! Great to be able to coral our toddler and newborn! :-) LOVE this stroller.
