Product Description

Thrustmaster proudly presents the TPR: the expert rudder system designed for flight simulation, featuring Thrustmaster’s PENDUL_R technology – a unique, revolutionary mechanism ensuring smooth and fluid movements. In conjunction with the 3D Hall effect magnetic sensors employed by Thrustmaster’s H.E.A.R.T. HallEffect AccuRate Technology, PENDUL_R technology guarantees perfect precision, even for minor adjustments. The TPR includes two highly-precise differential brakes for perfectly-proportioned braking. Its 100% metal structure and H.E.A.R.T. HallEffect AccuRate Technology ensure sturdiness and precision that won’t decrease over time. Compatible on PC in all flight simulation games (military and civil flight, airplanes and helicopters), the TPR is also compatible with Thrustmaster’s T.A.R.G.E.T. The Joystick has been working for the past 5 months. The throttle is just not holding up... sensor in the throttle is going out and there are dead spots. Playing DCS, this doesn't work for what I want in quality. Go ahead and spend the money on a better one.

Packaging: Shipped in an Amazon box with the contents in a separate official ThrustMaster square box. It had a lot of padding and were wrapped pretty nicely to protect them.Product Impressions: I have been using this exclusively for Elite Dangerous for about a week now and absolutely love it. However, I did not like how the process was to set them up. There isn't much online on how to do it so for others, here is how I did it:-Plug in handsets to working USB ports-Install drivers (From ThrustMaster)-Reboot computer-Check to make sure drivers are working via "Game Controller" menu-Install TARGET software (From ThrustMaster)-Reboot computer as the software WILL NOT appear until reboot occurs.-Download ZIP folder (From ThrustMaster) for the basic set up of controls. NOTE that 80% are set up correctly. You will need to need to manually change some key binds.-Enjoy! (I think lol)Usability: Works on my Windows 11 Pro rig.Overall Thoughts: Great set up for playing various space/flying games! Have fun!!

Works as advertised. Used it in conjunction with my T Flight Hotas X (purchased in 2015), also by Thrustmaster. A great tool for learning on the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Been playing with this for about a month and I have to say....for this being my first HOTAS at the price this is a very good HOTAS. It fits comfortably in my hands, the throttle feels a little big for my hands but still slides smooth, the stick moves around smoothly, and the pedals feel smooth as well. The pedals feel a bit close together as well but nothing that feels uncomfortable. You would have to spend about twice or more the money to get a higher quality stick setup but as an entry level setup I am very happy with this

I've had this stick and throttle for 2 and a half years and I have to say overall it's worth it if your looking for a HOTAS setup that has everything you need and is reasonably priced. I've looked and looked and there's virtually nothing in it's price range that anyone else offers for what you get. The stick feels great for flight and space simulation games. It does not have a tension adjustment but it's not needed imo. The 16000M stick has the perfect amount of tension whether your flying aircraft or spaceships which allows for precision movement. It has a hat, trigger, slider and lots of buttons which allows for many different configurations. The TWCS throttle is also fantastic, having 3 hat switches, 5 buttons, a slider and has an analog joystick and a two way lever in the front. Together, the joystick and throttle allow for endless configurations for key mapping allowing you to set up you aircraft/ship however you like. This setup is a great all around, mid range setup. It does have a few drawbacks, probably because it's plastic. The button presses and hat clicks feels a little too softer than I'd like which can sometimes make it a little hard to tell if you pressed it all the way. It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, you can do just fine in any flight/space flight simulator. Considering the insane cost of high end metal Joystick/HOTAS's this is a somewhat minor issue for me. One other drawback is that the throttle movement is not the most precise out of the box. What I did to fix this is grease the rails that the throttle slides on with something called Nyogel 767A (you can find here on Amazon), this made throttle movement extremely precise. I've used this setup for FSX, P3D, MSFS, X-Plane 11 &12, Rise of Flight, IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles, DCS World as well as Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous and it works great for them all.

I absolutely love this. I bought it only for use with Elite Dangerous, and I gotta say that it was the perfect swap from keyboard and mouse. My only gripe is that the stick is extremely sensitive on all axes, which results in drift so I ended up needing to set a small dead zone within the game. Not a huge deal, just doing what it's advertised to do. Other than that, it's a great first stick and throttle.

I would rather have the heel slide wedge not be installed. I felt it was unnecessary and removed them. Most pilots will agree that the aircraft do not have these and should not be on there.Otherwise, they are terrific. My only issue is not with the pedals, it is with my gaming chair. It's on wheels and when you use the rudder pedals, sometimes the chair slides away. You may want to consider getting the "SlipstickGripper", which are caster locking pads to keep your chair from rolling back. I did and they work great.

Reason enough... buy it already!Using with MS Flight Sim 2020 - no issues at all. Most responsive joystick on the market in this price range, would not even consider the others as they all have considerable dead-zones before input is read. The orange plate lights up the moment you start to move the stick, indicating it is reading your input immediately.Keep in mind:-Although the joystick can be changed to left handed use, throttle unit cannot (it can be awkward to use with right hand)-Throttle unit hand grip is just textured hard plastic, not nice rubber like parts of the joystick-Joystick is friendly with small hands :)-Trigger is single level click, no multi-function depth-No option to lock the rudder, although have not found myself accidentally turning the joystick as there is just enough force required-Plug and play worked without any additional software for me (Using USB 2.0 ports, Window 10 version 2004 with MS Flight Simulator 2020)

First complaint is that the seller is selling the product at £10 above the recommended MSRP, but as my Saitek Pro Rudder pedals had just didn't want to wait as the Amazon site didn't list an expected delivery date for rudder pedals at the standard MSRP.However as an initial review after a few hours use I can find little to complain about the pedals themselves. The pedals have an RSJ 12 Connector for connecting directly to the Thrustmaster T HOTAS 4 along with an RSJ 12 to USB adapter to enable you to connect directly to PC via USB should you want to mix and match to a HOTAS system of your choice.I am currently using this with a 3 year old Saitek X52 Pro HOTAS with no problems in Elite Dangerous.First thing to say is that this is the third set of rudder pedals that I have owned. I initially started with a set of Simped rudder pedals which while robust, were too wide for my liking. This was follows with the Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals which lasted me for 3 and a half years until one of the toe break spring mountings gave way with no warning.Initial impressions of the Thrustmaster pedals are very favorable. Whereas both the Simped and the Saitek pedals needed to be secured somewhat to the floor with the latter secured through Velcro strips on my carpet, the Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals are stable enough on carpet due to the lack of resistance on the pedal sliders with no need for worry about finding a way to secure them further. The individual pedals each ride on a pair of aluminium rails. Thrustmaster have named the system S.M.A.R.T, Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Tracks. There is just enough resistance for you to gauge the pedal position, without having to worry about the pedals moving on the floor. Furthermore as I use an office chair on castor, I had no issues with the chair itself moving involuntary due to the pedal resistance, a problem I found with both of my previous pedals. In game, I found them to be accurate and easy to use, with the only problem being that due to the lack of resistance that it was easy to find a little bit of right rudder being applied inadvertently. However I was able to adapt to this and learn to relax my feet in to the center detente on the pedals. It is possible that I could adapt the centre dead-zone with the Thrustmaster TARGET software downloaded from their website, but my initial experience of the software is that it feels very unintuitive to use.In general though, I have to say this is the best set of rudder pedals that I have used, and even at the £90 pounds that I paid, the cheapest. Certainly from initial impressions, these are the best pedals that I have ever owned, with the feel being just right out of the box.The pedals also incorporate a toe-break function pivoting through the center of each foot when resting on the whole pedal. I have not been able to test this much at the time of writing, but again I find that the motion is very smooth and fluid with little resistance, without the fear of activating it unbidden. I hope to update this review at a later point after tesing it both on Elite Dangerous on the planetary vehicle, and on Flight Simulator X on Steam. One thing to finish on is that although the Thrustmaster Pedals come with attached heel rests, there are removable (through a supplied allen key) for any budding pilots who prefer to fly resting their heels on the floor (like real pilots). However while using the pedals using my shoes, the heel-rests never felt uncomfortable to use in this position.
