I use these lights in my camping kit. I place them were there are stakes or guy ropes or other obstacles to be avoided at night. These lights will continue to illuminate well into the night, if not all night. They have an on/off switch so they can be turned off and not discharge while stowed. They come with a small stake to hold the light in place and they do not take up much space when stowed.I do recommend and I would buy these lights again.

I installed a set of these in-ground solar lights around my garden path and couldn’t be happier with the results. This little lights are VERY bright! I was expecting just enough light to identify a pathway in the dark, but these really light the way.

I wasn't sure these lights were going to give out enough light on my pathway, but they do put out enough. They put out a bright white light. You can't look directly at them, so I had to place them a foot further from my pathway. I ordered the 2 pack to see if they would work out. I thought I was going to need to place them 2 feet apart in order to have enough light, but I now think I can place them 4 feet apart. I will have to order a few more to finish lighting up my pathway. I also plan on using them to up light my address plate and to up light a few trees.

If ever there was an example of "Thoroughly read the listing before ordering" this would be it. Typically this style of lights are about 4.5" in diameter, these are less than 3". Probably not a big deal but they do look like kids' toys by comparison. Due to the reduced size they likely have a much smaller battery in them (no specifications listed anywhere in description), which would also help explain why they weigh almost nothing in comparison to larger versions of this style light.The stakes screw in to the center of the light. By comparison this seems to be better than the other, more typical style which consists of two flat pieces which slide together to form an x and have small round nubs on top that fit into 4 small holes on the bottom of the light. This should last longer and stand up better to accidental contact.The battery is not replaceable since the steel lens housing is ultrasonically welded to the plastic shell of the light. It can not be taken apart then put back together without losing its waterproofing.Overall it's not horrible, it's just smaller than expected, doesn't have all that long of an operating time and is likely a throwaway.

These two ground lights by Pleasur fit my needs perfectly. They arrive with a partial charge, along with two screw-on ground stakes to secure them in place, and a concise, multilingual, illustrated, fanfold user manual. I placed them outside in full sun to fully charge in the afternoon, and after dusk they came on and stayed lit well into the early morning hours.I got these for the edge of my driveway, kind of like airplane landing lights on a runway. My vehicle has very darkened window tints which make it hazardous to back into my detached garage, so I park there facing forward into the garage, requiring me to back out. However, when I back out at night, particularly on very dark nights such as around new moons, it's difficult to see the edge of my driveway through either my rearview mirror or driver's side door mirror. The brightness of these lights are perfect to help me back out of my somewhat long driveway straight, without running into the grass (see photos, some taken just after dusk once they lit up). I'll likely space them differently after additional testing.I really appreciate that they are IP68 waterproof and rustproof, not only to protect against rain, but also because I have water sprinklers around where I need to place them. I have not had these long enough to comment on the longevity of the built in battery, the size of which is not stated on either their Amazon product page or in the user manual. The ground stake is not quite long enough to trust mowing over them, but since there are only two I'll likely just pull them up before mowing.I really like these lights. They are bright, seemingly sturdy, and ideal for my needs.

We set these spike solar ground lights alongside a low-to-the-ground no trespassing sign, as a courtesy to trespassers! The lights charge well during the day and generate a steady glow at night that clearly outlines the area. No wires, no fuss — just push them into the ground. (Tip: it helps to wet the soil first so they're easy to press into the earth.) Be sure to charge them in full sunlight for several hours, and they turn on automatically at sunset. They feel more secure than flimsy ones we’ve tried. We appreciate that they’re waterproof and hope they’ll withstand the harsh climate of our Arizona desert. So far, the stainless steel design is solid, and they deliver reliable performance with a clean look—and a helpful way to mark the edge of a boundary.
