I have ordered 4 of these cameras. 2 with recording and 2 without. One of the non recording models quit truning on. The would not trun off. Now 1 of the recording ones comes on and shuts down. I does not show the charging icon as the so far good one does. This has been a miserable situation.

This bike camera, mirror is really a quality item for bike safety .it's video quality is perfect and the SD card makes it a value for the money, it wasn't easy to install the instructions were not the best. Battery life is OK large viewing angle

Everything having to do with this camera is great. Make sure to use a good quality, high speed card for recording or your video might be choppy. I’ve only had the camera out for half a dozen rides or so. All I can hope for is the camera to last along time.

I loved getting rid of my side mirrors, with this I can see even better than with a mirror! I mounted the camera on the rear E-Bike rack and it works well there and the monitor on the bars! works really well would have one on my new E-Bike but there's no place to mount it. some times the power cord comes out and I have to push it back it but other than that it works well

If the sun is behind you, you can forget this camera and video. Really does not replace a good and well placed mirror. Display shows other cyclists at a great distance, but very small in the monitor.Monitor loses a bike over taking you quite some time before it actually catches up and passes you

I used this device on my e-bike as a rear view camera, and to record my adventure as well. I’ve owned a few but they would cut out and stop recording over rough terrain. This one works perfectly.

I am writing an update to a previous reviewMy original review drew the attention of Parkvision. They were quite concerned with my experience, and wanted to help me resolve the connection issue. Thanks to Amazon, a replacement system arrived, and I have had several opportunities to test the new rig. Initially, I ran into the same disconnect between the camera and display. I shoved the camera jack as far as it could go. Over the next 20 miles of biking, no further disconnects!!. Parkvision kept in contact with me. I have become an enormously satisfied consumer, thanks to Amazon and Parkvision!I experienced a very annoying quirk with this system. The video plug, connected to the cable from the camera, regularly dislodged from the female jack on the video unit while riding my bike. Over the course of 10-15 miles, traveling mostly on sidewalks in Naples, FL (roadway travel is way too dangerous around here), the screen went blank at least 8 times. I needed to push the jack in to get the video to return. I discussed this with Amazon, and they suggested a replacement, as well as to write to the manufacturer. The replacement arrived, and I am still waiting for a response from the manufacturer. I tried the replacement. Same problem. The video is quite clear, and provides a wide view of traffic behind me, especially when crossing intersections. I intend to look for a different system. The distraction of keeping the plug regularly connected is unsafe for a bike rider. Parkvision, fix the plug and jack!!!!! Surely, you could do a better job for this price.

NOTE: Originally I gave this 3 stars based on what I wrote below. However Parkvision reached out to me after reading my review and explained they had not received my email and were committed to customer service. They did send detailed steps to make adjustments on the camera to brighten the screen and make other adjustments too. So I change my 3 stars to 5 because I love the ability to see what's coming from behind me at a glance and a company that stands behind their products. Thanks Parkvision!I like the system but on a recent ride with footage I was really wanting to keep, I was unable to see any footage. I tried reading the card with my Mac and PC - nothing. The PC showed the files but clicking on them I got nothing.I was able to format the sd card so it's working fine again. Not sure what caused the card to become unreadable but I sent the unit back and ordered the same rearview camera.I'm banking on this being a fluke. If it happens with the new camera I'll send it back too.I did write the company about adjusting the brightness - got nothing back. There are times I wish the screen was brighter.
