If you are already adding a shower door just buy this one and dont shop for a better price this is great quality and heavy duty. Does not feel cheap at any points and mounts solid to studs or tile with hardie backer. I forgot to add a backer stud for mounting the door when framing but i went ahead and mounted to the tile and backer with the supplied hardware and this thing is rock solid i was worried but its held up against the test of time and has no water spots I have some pretty hard water too. Get yourself a squeegee and you will have a good looking door for a long time.

Glass is super thick but packaging is minimal so the first one we ordered arrived in a thousand pieces. This B is heavy even for 2 males. It took 2 more weeks to get a replacement and almost 4 weeks to get the broken one picked up. We managed to loose the paper instructions and couldn't believe how difficult it was to find anything online. My partner and I ended up using a video of a REVIEW of the product to guide us through installation. This was the best we could find unfortunately. We have an Encompass brand shower base with the linear drain at the front and these doors are definitely not made for it because there's only about 2 inches of threshold to the side of the drain. This may have been an oversight on my part. I don't know what the product shows as the minimum width of threshold needed but my guess would be 3+ inches. The glass is thick and all the hardware is heavy and pretty sturdy. I haven't installed other frameless or semi frameless shower doors but this one comes with multiple strips of plastic/rubber/silicone attachments to help keep the water from escaping from all the frameless surfaces. From far away this door is gorgeous but to me, all the plastic strips subtract from the beauty when you look up close.

This door took a while to deliver. It is extremely heavy and definitely requires two people to install. We are happy with the style and quality so far.
