I knew I had to have this pin when I saw it. It's exactly as pictured, small but not tiny and pretty detailed. The 2 chains don't get tangled up, they hang how they should. I like the little touches of red as accents against the black. I've never worn a brooch before, but now I have a reason to.

It was beautiful. Unfortunately, the clasp is not made well and didn't stay closed and I lost the pin off my purse while out running errands. I barely had it a week. :(

There is a goth /witchy sensibility to be sure about this pin, made with dark metal and blood-red stones. However, it goes way beyond the Halloween costume look. Especially for those of us drawn to crows, the mysterious dark birds they are. I am not the biggest wearer of pins or matching jewelry sets. However, when I got its companion bracelet, I knew I had to get the pin to go with it, and I'm glad I did. It is very much a retro pin. I could imagine such a bauble in my grandmother's jewelry collection, but it has a sensibility for our times.
