Spinach is a fast growing crop high in nutrition; and versatile in the kitchen. Spinach needs about 6 weeks of cool weather from seeding to harvest. It can be planted in the early spring or fall; and in winter in milder climates. Select a sunny location, cultivate and fertilize the soil. Sow seed sparingly in rows and firm over well to ensure good germination. Water and fertilize regularly. Harvest the whole plant by cutting at the base; or pick off the outer leaves one layer at a time to give inner layers more time to develop for future harvests.

I've planted nearly half the bag, even tried to sprout in different seed starting soils, even in baggie.. not one seed has grown.. I've never had this problem before.. all my other seeds have grown. I even tried different water.. Natural sunlight and grow light.. I've used this brand before and never had an issue.. very odd for over 100 seeds to not sprout, not one..

These seeds produce yummy spinach. Germination is tricky for any spinach, i think. I use the 5 day paper towel method. Some time it takes a few more additional days. I move it to my hydroponic system and then i Enjoy it. Yummy!

Growing these in our basement as part of our fresh veg this winter. Can't comment on taste yet as they are still very young plants, but they all germinated and are dong well thus far. Planted them in grow bags with soil under grow lights.
