It has large working distance of 57mm and maximum field of view of 10mm. This stereo microscope is a good choice for people who like to collect coins, stamps, rocks, gemstones but with low budget. It is also a good choice for students who would like to inspect insects, botanical specimens and etc. The package also contains a USB microscope camera. The digital camera captures still microscope images, streams live video preview to your computer. The built-in reduction lens included gives your computer screen a wider field of view.

The Manager of the Microscope store contacted me by phone and was very apologetic concerning my previous experience. I was offered the choice of a full refund or upgrade to a diffirent Microscope and was give the option to receive the new Microscope for an extended period of time and if I liked it I could send the original microscope back and pay the difference between the Microscopes. The person I was talking to was so professional that I agreed to try the New Microscope to see if it meets may needs. These comments are an update to what I originally had written. If the company does what it said it would do I will delete the message that I previously wrote and will recomend this store to others because of the extremely fine customer service I experienced while talking to the Manager. I am currently waiting for the the new Microscope and will update this post when we have completeded our review. For now I couldn't ask for a better response from a business store.=====================================================================================================================================================================================I purchased this microscope because of the description the AD had listed on Amazon.com which stated that the microscope could be used used to take digital pictures of coins and jewelry. The problem is that due to the field of view the entire coin picture cannot be taken. I contacted the sellers and was given the excuse that due to the 7 day free trial had expired I could no longer send the microscope back. The person named Raul in his e-mail was very unhelpful and suggested I buy a 500 dollar additional microscope from them. It is really sad when you try to be fair with a company and act in good faith and get a smartass response. I will report them to Amazon .com and will be filing a BBB complaint on this company.
