This little Olympus was and still is a very popular film camera. They were built to last, and were fitted with a really sharp little 40mm lens. The challenge is in locating a copy that has been serviced professionally, or by a restorer that knows what they are doing. Because of their age, these cameras benefit from being tightened, lubed, adjusted, calibrated, having the light seals replaced, and being tested with film. The lenses on these cameras should be very tight to the body, not loose or rattling. Unfortunately, it is fairly easy to buy one of these that has been represented as being serviced, only to receive a camera with worn out, missing, loose, or broken parts. This camera was not designed with the functionality or purpose of an SLR film camera, so do not expect similar performance. Left on Auto, this camera will choose either 1/40 second or 1/200 second exposure. Focusing is in zones. Film loading, advancing, and rewinding is easy enough for beginners. No batteries needed! This camera is small enough that it is convenient to take on trips (hence its name), and perfect for preserving snapshot memories. Good results can be had by using appropriate film stock, good composure techniques, and holding the camera still.

Receive the camara. And when i try to load the film. The rewind botton came stuck. A waste of money, because i’m from another country couldnt even send it back.

Great little camera that doesn't feel like a toy, but is smll with nice weight, and takes great picutres. I haven't had a camera in my hands for literally 40 years and this is so fun. I miss film cameras! Only problem is finding nice accessories that don't cost more than the camera. And I got it from good ole Amazon!! I'm a happy camper.
