my dad needed a replacement for his 11Accord, and this worked. We purchased our car from a HERTZ long ago so i dont know if this is the actual key fob for the 2011 accord but this is the one i was looking for. I took it to a key maker that also does cars. he shaved it properly and i put in the remote reciever to it and it works just fine.Just FYI, if your honda clicks and starts but immediately shuts off, it is because the remote fob is not positioned correctly or is backwards. The fob MUST be fully closed as well.

We got these for our teenage son vs. paying almost $200 at the dealer to cut and program a key through honda. The dealer was actually the least expensive option to get them cut, and they were willing to do that where most hardware stores refused to cut them for us since we didn't buy them there. My husband is a mechanic and programmed them himself. Overall very happy with the quality!

These keys require a dumb computer to be programmed (due to the immobilizer built into the car). Local key cutters wanted $150 per key. Luckily, I had access to a system to program the keys (thank you return policies). I was able to get these two keys ($20), have a locksmith cut both keys ($20), and about 3 minutes of time. The fact that these companies want to charge $150 (cheapest I found) for a key to be cut and programmed, is ridiculous and unethical. Think outside the box.
