The auto stop eliminator works like it is supposed to. Unfortunately, it can drain the battery. The first time that happened, I assumed my 5 yr old battery died. Bought a new battery. A few wks later it happened again. After reading 15 or so reviews, 2 of which said their battery was drained, I took my eliminator out. If your vehicle never sits for more than 3, 4 days you’re fine. More than that, dead battery. My truck can sit several days between uses.

This does a great job of eliminating one of the worst, dumbest, and most annoying features on new vehicles - the autostart feature. Sure, you can hit the button to disable it every time you hop in the vehicle and save yourself a few bucks, but never having to think about it again makes this a good investment. Installation is a bit of a pain - there are a number of great instructional videos online showing how to install and I highly recommend you watch a couple of them before you start. Other reviews have mentioned this device draining power when the truck sits. I haven't run into issues, but will update this if I notice this down the road.

Should have listened to other reviews mentioning that the battery is drained after only a day or two of sitting. No issues prior to install and no issues since removing, so it is definitely an issue with this product. It’s a shame because it worked flawlessly otherwise. 2021 Silverado 1500.

This worked great to disable one of the most useless, frustrating so called features being forced upon us by automobile manufacturers. Though the install did take some time, I think it is reasonable to get done in 45 minutes, start to finish on my GMC Sierra. So far the device has worked flawlessly and was well worth the money paid. Would absolutely purchase this item again.

You have to take apart the dashboard, but not too hard. Remove the floor mats and take the one trim screw out on the driver's side at the gas pedal area. Trim pops apart to access 6 screws. Just mark the knobs before you pop them off, so you can slide them back on exactly how they came off. Took 30 minuets. The 6 screws are not typical they are tork. The unit reverses the logic, Turnes it off when you start the auto but you can push the button to turn it on if you so desire.

The auto stop function on my duramax was making me crazy So I started looking for these and this particular one was a quite a bit less expensive but I took a chance. It took a while to arrive but was easy to install once I got the dash apart and works great. Install time is about an hour based on dis assembling the dash. Watch a few you tube videos before you start.

Installed this a few weeks ago. Works great. Turn on the truck in a second or two, auto stop turns off. It has no memory of last setting, it will always turn off auto stop soon after turning on the truck.

Review update: it appears there maybe a continuous draw on voltage with this installed. If your truck sits for awhile , 4-7 days it could drain your battery.
