Started a new 125 gallon aquarium and experienced a nitride spike and lost several fish.Installed nitride pads into Fluvel 6X cannister filter and did a 20 gallon water change.I check nitride levels a couple times a week resulting in eliminating excessive nitrite issue.Highly recommend.
