This is a slick little "lantern" (more of a big clip light, really) that puts out a good amount of light - I've been camping for 40+ years, I have a ton of Nite-Ize stuff and it rarely disappoints. No matter how many flashlights/lanterns/keychain lights/etc. I take camping with my family, it never seems to be enough, or I'm always missing a few when I get home. This is light enough to clip on a pack, and the solar charging is a nice feature.

This is one amazing light. It looks like I’m going to have to buy a second one now since my wife stole my first one and won’t give it back!I honestly just wanted it for when the power goes out but found it to be super useful since it has multiple brightnesses and color temperatures. It’s much more than just a camping light. The low setting seems to last forever and at five hours the high is really good also. You can use the color temperatures to set the warm light for outdoors to help from attracting so many bugs or you can use the white light indoors as a work light or as my wife likes to use it for reading.I found that I can clip it on most things and then rotate the light to point to where I need it. I’m happy this one comes with a USB-C charging port instead of USB micro that some other others have.Overall we really find this to be a useful light.

I own a bunch of little solar lights. I got this one to use with my clear pop-up dome tent. I thought this would be perfect because it can hang up in the center of the tent and charge without moving it. Unfortunately, a huge windstorm came and destroyed the bubble tent. I now use this light on my outdoor swing / daybed. The first thing I did when I opened the package was charge the light with one of my USB-C cables. They did not provide a cable, but I knew this before ordering it because it states there is no cable in the description pictures. I like that it is compact. It has a clip to clip to your camping gear, belt loop, tent ceiling, etc. It has a revolving body that allows you to aim the light where you need it or direct the solar panel towards the sun. This light takes a full day in the sun to fully charge, or you can use a USB-C cable to charge it in just a couple of hours. This light has 3 brightness settings that illuminate from 9 lumens to 90 lumens and can last from 5 hours to 30 hours. Just tap the button to scroll between the brightnesses. Not only can you change the brightness, but you can also change the color temperature by holding in the button while it is powered on. There are a lot of different shades of light from a snow white to an amber yellow. After powering the light off, it will retain the color temperature memory. If you turn it off in white, it will be white when you turn it back on. One feature I really like that I don't see often in portable lights is the lockout feature. If you hold in the button for 5 seconds while the light is off, it will prevent the light from coming on if the button gets pushed. This is great when you have the light with your camping gear or in your work bag bouncing around. You dont have to worry about it accidentally coming on and draining the battery. Although this says the light is 90 lumens, I feel like it's brighter than some of my other higher lumen portable lights. I own quite a few Nite Ize devices, and like the rest, this did not disappoint. This little light can come in handy in many different situations.

The rotating design is incredibly versatile, allowing you to angle the light as needed for a variety of situations. I've used it for trekking and biking—especially as a precaution in case my journey runs late. While it's not super bright like a beam light, it's perfectly adequate for navigating trails and roads. I primarily use it as a night beacon, providing a steady glow on my back or shoulder strap for visibility (sadly no flashy mode available, just steady light). One of my favorite features is the rotation mechanism—the solar panel on top and the light on the bottom make it easy to attach this lamp almost anywhere. It works as a hanging tent lamp, clips conveniently onto a shoulder strap or backpack, or can simply be held while walking. The three brightness modes and adjustable light temperatures, all controlled with a single button, are brilliantly designed and incredibly user-friendly.When I'm not trekking or biking, I keep this light in my glove box as an emergency backup.

This light is really handy for camping; I just hang it from the awning and it will charge itself during the day. It's not super bright, but gives a good diffuse spread of area lighting. I like that it can be tilted at different angles, and that it has a built-in spring clip to attach to a rope or strap. It weighs 4 ounces, so probably a bit heavy for backpacking, but nice for a campout or for the back yard or gazebo.

Pros: Built well, light weight, long run time on lowest light setting.Cons: Long time to charge up by sunlight, controls for light settings could be better.Improvements: Some kind of charge indicator to show state of charge would be great, clam shell solar panel to decrease charging time.

They were useful light that will get a lot of use in the summertime when I’m camping. The addition of a solar charger on the back to charge itself means that I can use my battery bank to charge up my cell phone for photos and maps.

Love the design and brightness of this light. Easy to clip to your backpack and charge while hiking. The swivel allows multi positions for nighttime use in a tent or around a camp stove. I can even see using this during a cross country road trip where you want to sleep in the back. Night Ize is a reputable brand and I think this light is a good investment.
