I work with middle school students. We talked a lot this year about using strategies to help us focus, remain calm in stressful situations and get the “input” we need to be successful-recognizing we don’t all need the same things. In the past I have used Velcro strips…and they work…but these are pretty!!! We talked about how we could use these day-to-day and during assessments throughout the year. We practiced a bit in class and I sent kids on their way. It didn’t take long for my students to bring in their friends for a calming strip of their own!

I got these for my students. They weren’t that excited because they said the texture wasn’t as satisfying as the ones they have felt before. They are a good size and stick well and are beautiful! Just not the best texture.

I purchased these to use in my class store. They are cute and easy to use, but I wish there was a variety of textures, instead of just a sand paper feel.

I had never heard of these until I went to a conference. I sent them in thank you cards to my staff and almost the entire team called me personally to thank me for the strip! I run a helpdesk, and my team has found them very helpful when they’re talking to unhappy callers! I another told me that it helped her during a thunderstorm in which she lost power and was freaked out.

These are great for classroom use! We have them all over the class where kids either need to wait in line or wait at the table and the kids love them. Keeps them distracted and they are still stuck after 100 days!
