Thought I might add a standard phone in the house as a back up. This is a good phone. Very easy to dial. Has several save options. Big numbers, easy to see. The phone plug is plenty long enough. I did find 2 small issues. one being the phone cord to handle. It was not long. I bought a seperate really long ong and changed it out. That was ok. The main thing I was not fond of is that the hang up receiver part of phone I find thin. Meaning very limited space to hang up and it hold without fear the handle you talk through might fall off the reciever. It seems to hold, but could easily not if not carefully hanging up. Outside this it is a very nice telephone.

I received this WUCOHATI Desktop Telephone for The Elderly in December 2024. The item received matched the Amazon product page description and pictures. There were no noticeable physical defects with the phone itself. Testing the phone out using the handset the sound quality was good for both the caller and the person being called. The speakerphone volume slider switch on the side was hard to use due to the tab you need to move being too small/low. I had to use a fingernail or a paperclip to move it up or down. Maybe if you have small fingers it would be easier to use.The mic for the speakerphone function is not that good which results in the person I called barely being able to hear me when talking a normal distance away from the phone. In order for the person to be able to hear me I had to have my lips about 2 inches from the mic in order to sound the same as if I were talking to the person using the handset. This makes the speakerphone function useless for my needs. I am deducting 1 star from my review due to this issue.I think if you don't care about the speakerphone functionality of this phone it is a good phone. If being able to use the speakerphone function is critical for your needs this may not be the phone for you.
