The venerable CD4069 was generally not available with a "B" or "BE" suffix like most 4000-series CMOS logic parts and, in fact, current parts catalogs all feature the unbuffered CD4069UBE version by all manufacturers. In fact, in the many decades that this part has been a mainstay, these are the first buffered ones I've seen. Moreover they purport to be Texas Instruments parts, though the TI logo is very, VERY blurry, only approximating the outline of the great Lone Star State, typical of parts with dubious parentage. In checking the TI literature and archives, nowhere is there any reference to a past or present buffered version of this part.
