This projector is compact and makes a good image in the right conditions. The image produced is reasonably bright and has good colors for the price, but you'll still want a proper screen and a room with low light levels. It ships with WhaleOS for the "smart" TV features, enabling you to stream content directly to the projector over a wifi network. I mainly use the HDMI input, since I already have an Apple TV that's logged into the streaming services. It hasn't had any issues picking up the 1080p output from the Apple TV. There is no noticeable lag or audio desync.Ideally, you'll use dedicated speakers for sound. However, the projector does seem to have a speaker inside that's not terrible. The cooling fan is audible, but not that distracting.Basic setup is straight forward. Unlike projectors I've had in the past, this one can automatically adjust focus and keystone after power on, and it does a pretty good job of it. However, I didn't see an obvious way to make manual adjustments to focus or keystone. The instruction manual is readable, but very brief.Overall, this is a decent projector with smart TV functions. The unit is also lightweight and compact, making it a decent portable option.

This is a nice little projector. It’s not the biggest or brightest I’ve ever used, but it works really well for weekend backyard movie nights or something like a small office setup. The auto keystone feature is great to have, but not always perfect. Sometimes I had to nudge the projector a bit to get it to re-align. Nothing deal-breaking, just something to know. The 15-degree angle setting is a bit touchy. It’s easy to bump it out of place, and when that happens you’ll notice some blur on the edges. Also, while it does have a built-in speaker, I’d definitely recommend using an external one. The onboard sound is fine in a pinch, but it doesn’t do movies any favors.Apps work and do load, but it’s not the snappiest box. I could see the built-in smart features feeling sluggish after a couple years. For now, it gets the job done. This is a solid mid-range projector with a few quirks, but still a good value if you’re using it casually.

This is an awesome little portable projector that has pretty much all of the features you would want from such a product. It does have the built-in app support you would expect from an Android-based OS, and it's pretty great at autofocusing and keystone adjustment. Brightness is pretty good too: there are brighter projectors of course, but what is here is quite good. The 1080p signal looks good as well in the right conditions. We ordered it for having backyard movie nights, and it has been perfect for this. The built-in speakers are just ok... not great, but they get the job done. If you have a lot of people that are sitting further away from it you may want to consider using with external speakers.I am just really happy to have a way to have those back yard movie nights: it really does look great, especially if you get yourself a decent screen. I like that it is so compact: it's incredibly easy to move around with you and stores easily when not in use. Features are good, and it is priced reasonably well. It does support Wifi 6 which is nice, and the radios had no issue pulling the signal from the access point in the basement when we are out in the back yard. It also supports casting which is kind of nice.

When the product description said it was cerified by a media streaming company, I didn't really think that meant anything and was probably a gimmick. I'm still not sure what the certification means, but I I do know this device handles running smart apps very well. I have used a lot of smart devices and smart TVs, and I always feel let down by their slow and sluggish response. This device has enough power to properly process and stream media, and since it seems android based several other apps I downloaded from the app store for streaming worked well. When it powers on, it beams a test grid at the wall (shown in the attached photo) and it uses that grid to dial in the focus, and corrections to account for skew. It does a great job with this, and it does it quickly. The settings menu has all the things you would expect and works well. The sound quality from the device may be servicable if you are just listening to some audio commentary but it lacks the quality you would really want to enjoy television or music. It pairs easily with external bluetooth devices, I went ahead and did that and it worked great. If usually reconnects to the bluetooth device quickly, but if you do need to encourage it to manually connect the software is a little unclear, and you go through the "Search" process to add a new device, but instead of searching for new ones only, it will also show paired, but not connected devices. The remote works well, most of it functions with just IR, I didn't even realize I hadn't paired the remote until I tried to use voice input (which worked great, and allowed me to search for content). It picked up the non-paired remote signals well, and after pairing the remote became even more responsive. It allows for functional and complete control. The base of it allows for easy up/down adjustment, and the base has a standard sized tripod mounting screw. I went ahead and mounted this on a tripod that I had handy, and it stays stable and is very portable, I've used it around the house, inside and out, all from this tripod. And finally, the picture quality! I was worried the light would not be bright enough, nor the resolution crisp enough, but that worry was unfounded. The picture quality is fantastic, especially at large sizes. This projector at first seemed a little expensive to me for something well known, but it delivered fantastically.
