I was really worried about this wetsuit because I am a large woman who loves to do triathlons! I am doing the Escape the Cape triathlon next weekend and I am jumping off of the Cape May/Lewes Ferry into the Chesapeake Bay for the swim part! So I needed a wetsuit!! This is my very first time stuffing my body into a wet suit! I tried it out in my pool today which is roughly 75 degrees and it feels great! My body was warm and I can move in and swim in it. On the plus side: I float like a buoy!!Only negative feedback: 1) The neck is way too tight and makes it a bit uncomfortable. 2) The rough part of the Velcro on the neck part catches on my hair a bit as soon as I start to swim. But I can manage for a short swim. 3) It rips easily... This is because the rubber part of the neoprene is on the outside. So careful when you're pulling it on, if you're a curvy chunky gal like me. :) I recommend putting it on panty hose and roll it up at the bottom and then hike it up to wear it's supposed to be on your legs and then roll it up your body. I also used TriSlide spray on lubricant. I just ordered a repair kit, if that doesn't work, I'll just use some fancy duct tape for the race! ;)I'm excited that this wetsuit fit me so well considering I am above the recommended weight for the fit. It stretches nicely and I could still breathe easy and walk normal! Thanks for making a great product NeoSport. I will recommend this to my friends who are venturing out in the cold water and need a wetsuit!

This is a great wetsuit, especially for the price. I bought it ahead of the Chicago Triathlon. I've used it twice in Lake Michigan for training and haven't had any issues (other than sometimes wishing I'd splurged on a full length cause the lake can get chilly). For sizing - I went with a size 4. I'm roughly 5'3", 115lbs, 31-26-31 with 19" thighs and 13" calves. I generally wear XS or size 0 or 2 clothes. I've struggled to get into some other wetsuits due to my "athletic" build legs, but this one worked really well. It's snug in most areas, and I have no complaints about overall fit. The shorter legs sit right below my knee. If you're used to full length wetsuits, this one does feel a little weird. I keep forgetting how high up on the leg you need to pull for it to sit well at the crotch.

Love this suit! Has been amazing for my triathlon training. Keeps me super warm while giving my arms free range of motion. No rubbing or chafing even on the long distance swims. Fits great, easy on and off.

I am glad that I read the reviews before ordering. I sized down 2 sizes, I am 5'4" and 122 pounds. According to the chart I should be wearing the 8, but I ordered the 4. I have to wiggle into it but I want it to fit like a skin, if it is too big one risks chafing. I live in Miami Fl so I haven't had a chance to try it in the water yet. I will be taking it to Sicily in September for a swim trek.will update my review afterward. I like the way the wetsuit looks when I have it on and the cord on the zipper is easy to handle. I am pleased with the purchase.

This is an excellent neoprene suit for swimming. I can't comment on it as a triathalon suit since I'm not a runner or cyclist. For swimming it is the BOMB. Excellent arm and shoulder freedom, very comfortable, little drag, easy on an off despite the close fit. It does have (flat) seams so if you're in the Olympics this is not the highest quality tech suit you can buy for speed. But it offers compression and keeps you toasty and warm, both in the water and after you get out. The length of the legs is unique and amazingly comfortable, while protecting your knees from scrapes. The fact that the zipper ribbon velcros to the lower back of the suit is great: you don't have to grope around for it and it dosen't float free in the water and tangle in things.A word about fit. I am 5' 4-1/2" tall and about 117 pounds. My body measurements are 32-26-38. My thighs are 19" and calves 13" around. I do not have huge leg muscles like runners/cyclists, and I am curvy in a slender way. I purchased a Size 6 and it fits perfectly everywhere except in the stomach, where there is a little extra room. If you're a woman with either wider hips than me or a bit of a pooch in the belly, then this suit will be perfect. If you are busty, it may be too tight, unless you like a lot of chest compression. I am keeping this suit even though it has a little bag in the belly - I'm going to wear the bottom of a 2 piece suit under it. The calf openings are a little loose on me (which makes for easy on and off), but the suit's warmth is not compromised because from the knees up it is snug. However if your have similar bust, waist and hip measurements as me but bigger calves, Size 6 of this suit would still fit you just fine.I also ordered the next size down (Size 4), which was really compressive for me and I would have kept it too except for the fact that the neck opening was so tight it was strangulating. The Size 6 had a close fitting neck, but not so much that my face turned blue! (My neck is 13.5" around.) I returned the Size 4, which would only fit a girl who is really petite. Also I have to disagree with the reviewers who felt this material was so thin that their fingernails could rip it. Both suits I ordered are made of a thick, dense neoprene, very warm and sturdy.

Am very happy with my purchase! Bought this item to do a late summer Ironman where I don't need full coverage but like the comfort and warmness of wearing a wetsuit...this wetsuit was easy to get on and off - the fact that it's calf length was GREAT for me because I can never get the ankle length wetsuits off my feet in transition. And, twice (in cold weather races) I have had calf cramps and I did not have a cramp wearing this in a 2.4 mile swim (but the water temp was 80, so...) Sizing - I got the size 8. I am 5'7 and 129. Some reviewers around my size went for the 6 and the 10 and both said it fit them. So I got the 8 and it worked just fine. I MAY have been able to go down to a 6 because it was not supertight (my other one is much snugger but less comfortable) and I had some extra room around the lower middle, but it felt just fine to me in the water (neck is supposed to be tight to keep water out).
