Its so hard to remove the plastic taste on the boiling water. I have probably ran it more than 15 times, with vinegar, then with baking soda, then back to vinegar again- over and over. Cleaned it with warm soapy water and it still has a plastic taste on my water. Might be returning it.

This 3L instant hot water dispenser has been an office favorite! It’s super easy use and to get the perfect temp whether we're making green tea, coffee, cocoa or even just a quick cup of ramen noodles. The digital display is clear and easy to use and read, and the removable tea infuser is a nice bonus a perfect thingy for steeping loose leaf teas without making a mess.It heats up fast, looks nice on the counter, and cleanup is a easy. Holds enough water for a small crowd without needing refills.

Such a handy item to have as we are big tea drinkers so need hot water as opposed to a coffee machine. We like beng able to have hot water on hand without having to constantly fill and boil a kettle. Doesn't take up too much space on our kitchen counter, very easy to use and keeps water hot all day. Do like that it has a safety feature to turn off if on for longer than 24 hours. Water dispenses without any spillages so safe and easy to use.

This is a must have appliance for me and a purchase that I’m glad I finally made for myself. I drink a lot of tea, a lot. I heat my kettle at least 10 times each day making various black and herbal teas. My husband likes to make ramen regularly too. This dispenser saves me so much time from having to wait around the kitchen for a regular kettle to boil from cold. Sidebar - I’m saving so many calories from my impatient snacking, haha. This dispenser will keep water hot at any temperature I choose and it switches on periodically to keep it at that temperature. It holds its temperature for quite a while even if I choose not to have it actively heat. It seems like a fairly efficient device to me. It’s super practical to use for gatherings because it does stay hot and people can make a hot beverage any time they want. The dispenser has a handle for carrying it if I want to bring it to something like a potluck. There is an infuser insert if one wants to use that but I just make hot water because I use hot water for so many different things. It dispenses at the press of a button and there is a lock out feature to protect young children if anyone is concerned about that. The illumination feature is really nice for a dim room so I don’t overfill my cup. It’s a really fantastic appliance. It heats fast and makes great hot water.

Performance has been reliable and versatile. For pour-over coffee, I set the temperature to 195°F, and the precise control ensured consistent results without scalding the grounds. The tea infuser worked well for brewing large batches of chamomile, though it’s a bit small for steeping more than 2 tablespoons of loose tea. The dispenser’s three water output settings (small, medium, large) made it easy to fill a single mug or a pot for oatmeal without splashing. The LED display’s real-time temperature readout was handy, and the ETL-listed safety features, like auto shut-off and dry-boil protection, gave me peace of mind when I left it running. After daily use, the stainless steel interior and BPA-free exterior show no wear, though the plastic lid feels slightly flimsy and needed gentle handling. My only gripe is a faint plastic smell during the first few boils, which disappeared after running a cleaning cycle with vinegar.

When you live in a house where someone always needs tea, coffee, or warm water for something—be it a French press or a weird oat concoction someone saw on TikTok—this thing starts to feel like part of the family. I wasn’t sure we needed an instant hot water dispenser until this NELO one quietly took over the job of boiling water better and faster than anyone else around here. It’s got a generous 3-liter tank, so I’m not refilling it constantly, even on the weekends when everyone’s home. I use the removable tea infuser almost daily now—it’s sturdy, super easy to clean, and way less fussy than dealing with a separate teapot. You just toss in your leaves, pick a temperature (there are 13 of them, which makes my tea-snob friend weirdly happy), and it does the rest. What I love most is the 24-hour keep-warm feature. I’ll fill it in the morning before work, and when I get home late, there’s still hot water waiting—no boiling, no nuking, no waiting. It’s not just convenient; it somehow makes my evenings calmer. Like I can just make my chamomile and not overthink everything. It also looks sleek on the counter, doesn’t hog space, and the 360° swivel base makes it really easy to move and pour. The LED display is bright and straightforward, and the whole thing just feels solid—nothing flimsy or cheap about it.It shuts off automatically, has boil-dry protection, and the handle stays cool, which is key when you’re half-awake and grabbing it before the coffee hits. No plastic smell, no weird aftertaste, and it actually blends in with the rest of the kitchen instead of standing out like some electric contraptions do.If your household goes through as much hot water as mine does—or if you’re just tired of babysitting the kettle—it’s genuinely worth it.
