As I mentioned, this is the extended height version and it's made well.Its meant to be used with their CAGE system.The whole cage system is made well. The Neewer brand is reliable!I do wish they offered this item in at least one more taller version for the times I use my camera with the battery pack attached to the bottom. That makes the camera sit much higher, which raises the lens with it and this extender can't reach the lens.

Si disponemos de algún sistema de encaje para montar nuestra cámara, normalmente es un anclado en el paso de rosca de debajo de nuestra cámara, sin más. Para usos en trípode fijo y otros menesteres de foto o vídeo, en general es suficiente. Pero si vamos a hacer filmaciones con movimiento importante, lentes largas, o aperturas de lente muy grandes en las que tendremos que estar reenfocando todo el rato, un accesorio de este estilo es muy importante.Recibimos una cajita de cartón, en la que en su interior se alberga el soporte (que viene dentro de una bolsa transparente tipo zip, para evitar ralladuras) y un papelito de esos de contacto con el fabricante.No se incluye ningún tipo de instrucciones, pero si tenemos algo de experiencia en estos sistemas de anclaje, veremos que es súper fácil montar. En mi caso dispongo de un soporte universal para hombro, de la misma Neewer, es este ➡ https://amzn.to/3nxsy5gAsí pues para montarlo es tan sencillo como desenroscar los topes de los rieles principales y sacar todo lo que sigue al soporte de empuñaduras. Luego pasar este soporte entre estos rieles, y volver a montar lo que habíamos quitado.A partir de ahí es solamente cuestión de ajustar la distancia del soporte hasta que nos coincida con el objetivo, y luego la altura para que quede bien asentado. Dispone de un par de palomitas de fijación respecto a la distancia con el cuerpo de la cámara, y otra para fijar la altura del soporte.Recomiendo situarlo cuanto más a a la punta del objetivo, mejor. Así tenemos más estabilidad y a la vez más superficie para agarrar el anillo de enfoque, o meter otros accesorios para este uso.En resumidas cuentas, es un buen accesorio opcional para dar más estabilidad y evitar así vibraciones adicionales al movimiento. El soporte hará que sufra menos el anclaje de debajo de la cámara al repartir el peso junto a la lente. También nos permitirá hacer movimientos bruscos sin que el objetivo o cámara se muevan tan fácilmente.

Got this to support the weight of my RF 24-105 4L lens on my Canon R5 when I'm out and about doing some filming. Easy to add to most shoulder rigs, and easy to remove. Haven't had any troubles so far, and they make a nice addition to any camera rig! Happy creating!

The Neewer Telephoto Long Lens Support Bracket was supplied in a small and quite plain but branded cardboard box. Inside the box was the lens bracket in a small bubble wrap bag as the only content. The objective of the bracket is to provide support for longer / heavy lenses that might otherwise cause damage to the camera body mountThe Y shaped lens support bracket is made of aluminium with adjustment in the vertical plane of 53mm and in the horizontal plane of 2mm, and is suitable for lenses with an outer diameter of 50–140mm. The top Y shaped arms of the bracket are covered with a rubber padding where the camera lens would sit on the support and this helps to prevent dings or scratches to the lens body, whilst there are two slots to allow for further securing with loop fasteners (not supplied) should you wish to do so. There are two levers on the bracket to secure to the rod or rail supports on a shoulder rig or cage, whilst a wing-nut at the front will allow for vertical adjustment and fixing at the correct height for the lens.As usual with Neweer products you get the benefit of well made, good quality components at reasonable prices and this is no different. No hesitation oin recommending this support bracket

Jut what I needed. My Dzofilm zoom lens is quite a heavy lens and my previous holder could not really hold it right, due to its shape it couldn’t be held in place. This however fits just perfectly actually holding the lens. It looks well made and feels sturdy. Nice product.

It slid on nice and smooth to my handheld rig. It feels like it was machined very well with everything perfectly parallel.The handles that tighten everything up are kipp handles. If they're in the way, they can be pulled out, rotated around, and then tightened down out of the way.It feels like it's made out of a nice strong metal, and the rubber pads on top are reassuring that they're not going to damage my lens.The extra height I get out of this 53mm bracket is great for my shoulder rig where the camera sits a little higher and I need that extra reach.Overall a great support for heavier lenses.Highly recommended.

Not sure why they list it for 50-140mm, I'm using it with a 70-200mm.It uses the standard 15mm rod rail system.I like that it has vertical (53mm) and horizontal (just 2mm) height adjustments.It has a non-slip rubber pad where the lens rest. The Y support bracket is a nice solid metal.
