Vivid color is wonderful. It's somewhat dark if you want to use it for standard text due to a loss of contrast between black print and the paper color, but for bold or large fonts, it's fine. Works well in both laser and inkjet printers for black printing. Not useful for color printing from inkjet, however.

I was a little leery at first about ordering this paper to use at school because I had seen some negative reviews about it jamming printers and being packaged poorly, but I took a chance and am glad I did. I ordered both Venus Violet and Terra Green; they arrived before the end of the school year so I was able to run them through the printer. No problem whatsoever! The price is great compared to office supply stores and there's such a large choice of colors. The product came packaged fine, just like paper I would buy at a local store. I will probably order more in other colors for next school year. If you are on the fence about this product, I think it's worth giving it a try.

It's hard to find color paper for $5.00 or under a ream. This one worked perfectly. Doesn't jam the copier and doesn't curl so far.

Found this dark violet/purple colored paper on Amazon when I could not find it in any store, and at a great price! I was worried it would not be the shade I needed due to seeing it online, but it was perfect on arrival. So happy that I've ordered again and will do so in the future. It shipped very quickly too, always a plus!
