It reduces the amount of leftover grass to contend with… makes for a better looking cut.Helps being able to keep from blowing cut grass from areas you don’t want it.

The directions are not clear on the use of the cam part. I ground it down to keep the chute partially open when put in closed position. I saw no mention of this part in the instructions. Works great and is built very well and solid.

I had an chute cover for my Badboy mower and I loved it. Now I have a Kabota and it's going on ASAP. Works fantastic and easy to use. The directors are not clear on what to do with the cam. A clear picture would help. Great product

Purchased this for my BadBoy Outlaw and it fit perfect. The only problem I discovered was the installation instructions were confusing. After finding installation video, the installation was simply. Recommend it.

After multiple viewings of YouTube videos still have not figured out how and what all parts fit together, it is on our Bad boy zero turn mover. Still do not understand what little silver cam does or how it works for this particular mower. Had to add metal washers to keep from crushing the nylon washers provided and it appears they were one nylon washer short in bag! assembly instructions are just plan bad to say the least and this is coming from a mechanical engineer!

Very poor instructions, no diagrams provided. You MUST go online to watch a film converted to video (half of which is fluff) as well as read the poorly written instructions provided (they are "one size fit all")to get the basic jest of instillation. Neither the online or printed instructions cover the roll pin, cam, or several other parts. I called Bad Boy which was no help either. I left my phone number with the person in charge of this device (Dean at x6618) and he failed to return my call. Only when I found an actual diagram of this on line did I see what goes where. Make no mistake, installation is not overly complicated, but there has been no effort on Bad Boy's part to make sure their instillation instructions work. Additionally, it is to expensive by 50%. It works, sort of.... I installed Oregon mulching blades on my Bad Boy Maverick and with the chute shut grass debris spews out thru the holes in the chute. Perhaps with regular blades the operator would not be covered with chopped grass. I could have built a simple panel to block the mower exhaust port and saved myself time and money. I expected better of Bad Boy in the quality of the product, instructions, price, and especially in the customer service department.

Chute blocker worked great on my older Bunton Hydro Driven Walk behind mower. Initially when I purchased it, my intent was to install on a 2008 Bobcat Hydro Driven Walk behind mower but it didn't fit that application nevertheless I made it useful on something else instead of returning the item.

Upon beginning installation, I realized that something was off. First, the plate that gets screwed to the mower deck appears different than those used by everyone on instructional videos. So I have concerns whether this part was made second-hand by someone. In addition, the box was missing parts including spacers and nuts/bolts to actually attach the plate to the mowing deck. This appears to be a resale with different/missing parts from what should be the original.
