Got it all the way installed, and found out that after it has locked, and the door has been shut, IT WILL NOT UNLOCK internally. The electronics part worked (it would make the lock/unlock knob switch to unlocked), but it would still be locked (the outside handle would not unlatch it). The only way to get it to unlatch was to use the inside handle.I compared it with the old one I was replacing, and that one does not have this issue (it was having issues where the electronics were no longer strong enough to reliably unlock the lock/unlock knob). I checked this just to make sure it wasn't an issue with the installation.DO NOT BUY.

It worked but the plastic attached to the ball was cheap and broke. Thankfully I was able to use that cable from the old part. All in all much cheaper than 500 from dealership just don’t throw the old part away in case the plastic breaks you can use from old part

My 2014 Veloster front door wouldn't open from the outside. Everything was pretty straight forward, and replacing the latch assy was all pretty easy. Everything fit and works just right.
