I was hoping to replace the plastic magnetic splatter cover I have but I didn’t end up liking this one better. I like the glass and silicone aspect but the trade off is that it’s quite heavy and the silicon doesn’t fold down or deploy easily making storage more trouble than I wanted. Depending on your needs or how you want to use the cover it might be great for you but I’m going to keep my plastic one.

This microwave cover is a solid kitchen tool. The tempered glass top gives it a premium feel and lets me see the food while it heats, and the silicone sides collapse easily for storage. The steam vents work well to prevent sogginess, and it fits over most of my plates and bowls. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit heavier and bulkier than plastic-only covers, so it takes a little more effort to handle, especially when hot. Still, it’s dishwasher safe and feels like it will last a long time.
