Pros:Solid construction and good quality. It's one piece of metal with chalk coating.Large and nice design. Ability to hang it from the included pieces.Comes with all necessary mounting pieces.Has black or white straps.Easily cleans off with included eraser.The board is magnetic so you can attached various magnets to it.Cons:No chalk was included. I would have expect at least a few pieces of chalk.It's heavy. Make sure you mount it properly or try to get it in a stud.

This menu is super cute and easy to install. I like that you can write on it and change it up easily. It cleans up really nicely too. It is bigger than I expected which was great for my food menu. Well made and sturdy. Would recommend!

I used this on the covered side of a food truck and it was not exposed to any elements other than wind. The sign is quite heavy and the mount is not the best for the weight of it. The included straps - 2 pairs- both failed within a couple of weeks and I had to resort to using cord to hold the sign up after that. FYI - The sign doesnt take well to falling to the ground and was damaged the first time it fell. It just got worse after it fell a few more times. Save yourself sometime and switch out the vinyl/leatherette straps with something more appropriate at the same time as you hang this thing.

I have given up trying to find the type of colored dry-erase marker that will write on a glass board with a black background. I have given up on glass boards that claim to be magnetic yet nothing made for magnetic boards stick to them except for the few magnets supplied with their product.I have gone to this metal board which is black. I will not use it as a chalkboard. I have more than enough ceaning to do without maintaining chalkboard cleanliness.The magnetic labels I have ordered adhere to this metal board. They are colored labels. I can write on those labels with the name brand dry erase markers I currently own. This is good enough for my To Do List purposes.Don't know how well this works with any kind of markers. It does what I need it to do and looks good. If I want to post a bill that needs to be paid, for example, I can attach it with a magnet. There are even magnetized plastic spring clips that people use to attach things to their metal fridge door. Those will also work.

I ordered this magnet board for our mudroom. I won't be using chalk or markers on it, so I can't comment on that aspect. It came nicely packaged with foam padding and extra cardboard. Also included was a melamine eraser and microfiber cloth for removing chalk markers. Mounting hardware-screws and anchors-are also included. There were also four screw covers and four rubber spacers if you want to mount it away from the wall. The edges aren't sharp and I had no fear of cut fingers when putting it on the wall. It looks really nice on my wall and holds magnets strong. When measuring my wall for placement, I held the foam packing material on the wall since it is the same size and much lighter to hold. The matte black finish looks great on the wall and I'm not afraid it will scratch easily.

Beautiful design and execution of this concept. This chalkboard is heavy duty and is well made. The size is generous and the black and white leather straps for hanging are a nice touch. The magnetic feature makes it that much more fun and useful. This is a great product!
