I’m a teacher, and always love an interesting basket you can see through to get the kids attention! Right now I have some rhythm instruments in it. I could see at other times filling it with books, blocks, stuffed animals, or any other manipulatives needed readily accessible in the classroom.But I bought it purposely to have on the patio for my grandson for his dive toys near the pool, or to tote my gardening tools around the yard and patio. It’ll be nice to shoot the water right through it to rinse everything off. The finish on the wood handle probably won’t hold up to the outside elements, but it’s a nice substantial wood handle. I think it will be just fine.

I love these baskets. I ordered them primarily for berry picking. Blueberry, strawberry, doesn't matter -- these are great for that purpose. However, I've found they are also great for household purposes. One makes a very cute fruit basket for my kitchen counter. Another is wonderful for holding mail. You could keep craft supplies, baby supplies, kitchen supplies -- it will all work. And back to the garden...these are great for all sorts of harvests. Pick those berries I mentioned, but you could also use these for tomatoes, potatoes, beans, greens, anything that grows! The metal mesh is perfect for rinsing off your harvest -- water goes straight through and you'll have less grit in your house. That said, these are not meant to be kept outdoors; I don't think the wooden handle would survive the weather (despite their sturdiness). But to take in and out, or to use inside for various purposes, these adorable baskets are ideal. I recommend them.

This is a good little basket. Simple, cute design and sturdy wooden handle. The construction seems pretty good, and so far it holds a decent amount of weight well without feeling like it's struggling. The size is accurate to the measurements stated in the listing.I will say, this is basically the same thing as a certain Swedish store's little metal baskets but a little higher price point. These are a fine option if you don't have access to that though, and they feel like the same quality. I also think this brand has a couple colors that are cuter, so that's a plus.
