I love the style..but they smell like gasoline. ..I'm trying to wash them. If it is gasoline (for some reason-preservative?) then it seems toxic to wear them barefoot. I'm also afraid it will be a problem to wear them on the airplane for an upcoming trip...hoping they air out.

The shoes are nice but the leather smell is very strong. I tried them on once and they are fine, but the smell is overwhelming. I had to sit them inside my garage to avoid the scent. Even though I have had them for a while the leather scent is still too strong for me to have in the house. Again its a good quality product but I wish there was a way to get rid of the odor.
