I bought these for my car, good for the price. They don't have much range, but they were easy to program. Took me less than 10 minutes to program both remotes.

Plus: They both programmed the first try. (Used one of the web links printed on the padded envelope.). Range seems ok (10 feet from car worked.) The case seems sturdy. The batteries arrived at 3.0 volts.Minus: The panic button sticks out too far and is prone to accidental activation. Stars taken away for that completely avoidable design flaw.

It works for what it was intended for. The hole where it attached to the keyring often breaks so it is a good idea to attach it to a smaller keyring (especially if it's flexible) before attaching it to the main keyring to prevent it from breaking as quickly.

They are very easy to program and use! Got them both programmed within 5 mins. Definitely worth it if you need a fob!!

Writing a review of the key fob. While the fob works like it's supposed, lock/unlock doors, was relatively easy to program.The biggest complaint that leaves me not wanting to use the new fob, and go back to using the original fob is, when it is in my pants pocket, the panic or alarm button protrudes slightly so it gets pushed easily, setting of the car alarm.The original fob that came with the car, the panic button was slightly recessed. This did not happen.Wish I had gone to Toyota and spent more and gotten a factory key fob. The only thing wrong with the original fob was the ring for the key ring broke.For the reason stated above, I would not purchase this key fob.

Lost the key fob, bought this and while watching a you tube tutorial I was able to program them with my car no problem!!! Would recommend!!!!! 2003 Toyota highlander .. Great purchase!!!
