This was a great purchase. The table is well made and was not difficult to put together. We love playing this as a family.

When buying a $500 shuffleboard table, don't expect this to be as nice as the ones you see in higher end bars that are 20 feet long. This is a cheaper, 9' table made from MDF. It's a good compromise between having a $4k 20' regulation table and something that can actually fit in your house. We had to schedule delivery with a local company who contacted us a few days prior to delivery. They showed up at 6A on a Saturday, which was a bit early. They brought it into our living room and left. It's very heavy (MDF), so you'll definitely need help bringing this to where you want it to be. We set it up in our basement, and navigating the stairs was a bit tricky but manageable. The instructions are good but not as detailed as you'd think. One word of caution: do NOT overtighten the screws. Since this is MDF, you will strip all the holes if you overtighten or use an impact driver. I recommend using a manual screwdriver wherever you can, as anything stronger risks ruining it.One thing I will say is that the pucks are high quality. They glide easily on the table, though getting used to a 9' shuffleboard table takes some getting used to. We have a lot of fun playing in our basement, and I'm sure this will provide entertainment for years. For the price, it's not too bad. Just manage your expectations and you'll like it.

High end piece of furniture? I’m laughing. The playing board itself is gorgeous and the pucks hefty and good quality. However, the rest of the table is composite wood garbage. This product is shipped via freight. Assembly took about 1.5-2 hours. You WILL need a second person to help with certain elements of assembly. The very first thing to note is that the screws provided to connect the corners of the table to the sides are far too short. And they kept turning bc they couldn’t “get a hold” of the wood. In fact, when I went to flip the walls (since you will be assembling the table upside down), the screws popped right off. They did this at least 3 times before I decided to go find some spare wood screws in my basement which were longer and substituted them. The second thing you will notice is the predrilled guide holes for the screws aren’t even at a perpendicular to the wood! They were at an angle and you can see from the photos how the angled holes ended up making the screw head damage the (very cheap and flimsy) plastic finish on the exterior of the table. At this point, I was super nervous putting the very heavy playing surface onto the table walls, but I forged ahead. Put the screws in as directed, but again, half of them felt like they had no “bite”, and the screws would keep turning in place even though they couldn’t be pushed into the wood any further. The wooden legs were oddly painted with different colored veneer with no rhyme nor reason. But this was ultimately covered up with a thin plywood wall, so it looks like the table is on sturdier legs than it actually is.Once the table was assembled, the handsome playing surface was definitely the most noticeable aspect of the table and you don’t notice the poor craftsmanship of the rest of the table during game play. But given the price tag and the sales description about this shuffleboard table being a “high end piece of furniture,” I am convinced that the manufacturer must only be familiar with IKEA.If you have any questions or found this review helpful, please let me know!

If you've looked this far, and imagine a Dave & Buster’s style shuffleboard in your game room, you should already know a couple things. The Dave & Buster’s table is 12' long ... the playing surface is 2-3" thick solid planed maple. They cost upwards of $4K. That’s more than a typical household can handle. The 9' table is an acceptable compromise and the Chinese source makes these adequately affordable for the home.I’ve taken time to be very specific for the simple reason that you can bugger up the table in assembly and be disappointed with the result. There’s no need for that if you think it through.Set-up for the 1st timer might be frustrating or tricky but stick with it. The underlying construct material is MDF. MDF is a quality, low cost material that permits the table to be offered at an affordable price.MDF is NOT wood screw friendly. Use the torque setting on your battery driver to avoid stripping the MDF with the screws. One reviewer reports angled pre-drill problems at the corner. The corners are the most difficult assembly step. The tolerancing of the molded corners with aligning two sides of MDF is quite tight. The slotted holes in the corner fittings are not an indication to angle drill for the flat head attaching screws. The pre-drill in the MDF here is a locator and not at a pre-drilled angle. Drive the screws 90 degrees to the MDF. This is about the only "potential" assembly problem I ran into. This table comes with adequate leveling adjustments. The table is heavy with a shipping weight of 200#'s. The playing surface is laminate. In the end, it's the play that matters. This laminate surface performs superbly and the whole looks good. We've now got some hours of play under our belts. It's an excellent game that draws everyone into participation.
