Hook-and-Loop Closure for Secure, Reliable Hold

The hook-and-loop fastener of the McKesson knit bandage creates an adjustable closure by pressing two parts together. The gripping portion enters the loop portion. When the hooks open, the loop is released. The closure eliminates the need for metal clips or other adhesives. This makes it easy for individuals or healthcare workers to put the bandage on and remove it. Choose from two sizes: 4 inches wide x 5 yards long, or 6 inches wide x 5 yards long.

Helps Reduce Strain on Muscles, Joints and Tendons

The compression from this knit bandage helps reduce swelling on a joint or muscle. Made of a knit woven blend, the bandage stretches to provide a controlled compression and support to injuries such as strains and sprains. The bandage is suitable for use on any limb. It should not be too tight as the goal is to apply gentle pressure that is not painful and does not restrict blood flow.

Elastic Provides Controlled Compression

The McKesson knit bandage is a stretchy bandage for wrapping around a body part to apply pressure to it. Healthcare workers commonly use it in first aid as part of RICE therapy (rest, ice, compression and elevation). The bandage compression helps reduce swelling by restricting blood flow and can also help with pain relief. Because the bandage’s gentle pressure helps reduce swelling, it may make the injured area feel better.

Well-made but was too thick to use as a wrap for my wrist. Again, the elastic is excellent just didn't do it for me.

I used these at work about 5 years ago - I forgot who made them, then stumbled across these on Amazon. I ordered 1 case and I've used 2-3 of them since then. If you roll them carefully between uses, they're are almost INFINITELY reusable.

These look and feel the same as the ones my orthopedist used. I ordered the 4 inch wide one because I thought 5 yards was going to be really long, but they are 5 **feet** long and not 5 yards. I know because I held up the wrap and it came up to about my chin, and I am not even close to 15 feet tall.I'll be returning and re-ordering the 6 inch wide to wrap my knee.

Correction: the hook-and-loop components are at the ends of each 5-yard bandage, requiring you to wrap the entire bandage. This is neither described nor illustrated!“Secure the bandage with the hook-and-loop closure.”What hook-and-loop closure? It doesn’t stick to itself!

This is exactly what my doctor uses—works great and economical.

These wraps are a lifesaver when it comes to wrapping bandaging for wound care products. I’ve used these now for a year while slowly healing an injury on my leg. These wraps make it a breeze to apply, roll and velcro hook the bandage to itself without need of tape. Anyone who’s been to would care knows the flimsy, thin weave bandage gauze they use to wrap around and enclose a dressing. Cost and convenience wise, these prevent a lot of headaches. Apply dressing, use these to roll around and secure. Also easy to reset when they get uneven and out of place. Really great item and low cost!

I was so happy when Amazon started carrying this brand as it is what the doctor's office gave me for my elbow bursitis. I use a piece of medical tape to hold it on my arm to get it started so I can wrap it myself without help. One roll lasts for several weeks and when it gets dirty or the elastic starts letting go, for this price I just discard it rather than trying to wash it.

P:erhaps I purchased a wrong style amongst the McKesson brand but these are terrible. They easily unfurl when applying fall to the floor and unroll. Difficult to adhere and therefore dont stay secured and unravel onto the ground. Of no use, done, no more, that's all!
