I bought it in 2022, and it only lasted a couple of years; it's dead now. They don't last very long. I tried to reach out to the company but couldn't find a way to communicate.

I had to replace the 8 year old Maxxfan Dome that was installed in my 2016 Airstream Interstate. The original fan plastic handle broke and the fan motor stopped working. I was told no parts are available and I had to replace the fan. This fan model was the recommend replacement part. Unfortunately the new fan was not the same size and the previous model. This meant a complete rework of the spacer Airstream used on the original install and drilling additional holes into the Sprinter roof and enlarging the hole through the roof.My hope is this fan is of higher quality then the original.

I like it, for shower room very good. But you need to add insulation for colder seasons.

Typically a good fan. Although this one is too loud to use. Unfortunately it’s installed and I don’t have the patience to replace so I’m stuck with it now. Seems like a quality control issue. The motor or the blade are not quiet.

This fit almost almost perfectly between the ribs on thr roof of my 2013 e-150. The hole you have to make does fit between the ribs, but the flange overhangs slightly. Not a problem I built it up with butyl tape and no issues. I bought 2, I each is directly wired to its own 12v 100ah battery in my 4 battery system. You can definitely hear them running but they move air very well. I installed 2, probably don't need the second one but my batteries don't even know they're there, the draw almost nada.

Roof vent to exhaust steam from the shower in our motorhome. We like the fact that it’s compact compared to the much larger square units.

Looks well thought-out and built.I'm going to make sure not to warp the unit when installing it in the roof of my van. It definitely needs to be installed on a completely flat surface to prevent issues with the fan's lock feature. I'll be using a custom spacer/flange for installation in my Sprinter van roof (custom made by DIYvan).The fan draws about 0.8 A @12 V, so about 10 W.As for the sound level, I have measured 53 dB @ 3 ft below the fan.It seems to be the best dome 6" fan currently available on the market.

El ventilador se ve de bastante buena calidad, me gusta el tamaño y su acabado. No lo probé pues no corresponde el modelo con lo que yo compré. Claramente viene etiquetada la caja que este modelo trae luz LED, pero no es así es el modelo sencillo.Leyendo varios co mentarios de otros compradores veo que han tenido el mismo problema.Error de empaque por parte del fabricante

The black plastic dome (and the horizontal-mounting trim ring which the description doesn't mention) are black. But the interior parts are all white. Here's the kicker that costs a star: The flange which screws to the outside of your rig is WHITE! You can see it in the picture. Don't think that white shaft/flange will be hidden. It will not. So it's only HALF black on the outside. With the wall mounting ring in place, you can still see white beside the dome. Sigh.The letters "led" in the product title are an error in the listing. This model never has an LED light. The one with a light is more expensive! Duh.This one has a button to push so you can shove the dome open and another button to turn on the fan. The lighted version has a third button to turn on the light. No fan speeds! Draws about 2/3 amp at 12V. I'm pretty sure the wall mounting ring cuts air flow in half but I can't test that accurately. It's one of the few designed for vertical or horizontal discharge.
