MasterTop Premium Replacement Soft ToP
MasterTop replacement tops are designed to fit over your factory installed soft top bow assembly (not Included). Each top includes all the custom fit heavy-duty 25-28 oz Sailcloth fabric and replaceable windows needed to do a complete replacement of that old, worn top.
MasterTop replacement tops are designed to keep your original hardware fold back feature on 03-06 TJ models and attach to the factory windshield header.
MasterTop Replacement tops for ’97-’06 Wrangler Soft Tops are available with or without Upper Doors Skins.
All door windows are DOT approved clear glass. Tops with tinted windows feature extra-thick 40 mil press polished glass with 31% tint for the ultimate in clarity and longevity.

Durable Soft Top Material
Constructed of a tough 3-ply 25-28 oz pinpoint sailcloth fabrics, our widely popular Diamond and Denim textured options provide lasting durability with UV and weather resistance, while the inner vinyl layer reduces noise and buffering. Unlike cheap fabrics used on imported soft tops, the premium fabric maintains shape in any temperature.
Clear or Tinted Rear Window Options
Options available for clear or rear 31% tinted windows that are DOT compliant . MasterTop uses premium Press Polished glass where unlike "Rolled" glass, which is used in low-cost soft tops, MasterTop windows do not distort your view and the 40 mil thickness ensures the glass lasts longer than other thinner aftermarket window glass.
Marine Grade Stitching
MasterTop sewn seams are stitched with tough marine grade polyester thread that’s UV protected and rot resistant providing years of enjoyment, and engineered to resist fading and wear from the elements. Seams also feature heat taped seals to prevent leaks.
Requires Original Soft Top Hardware
MasterTop Fabric Only Replacement Soft Tops use your factory original hardware and door surrounds (not included) for installation. These tops do not include the necessary bows, front header channel and installation hardware for a full Top replacement. If you don’t have them already, you will need to purchase this kit separately.
Replacement Door Skins
MasterTop Soft Top for Wrangler TJ includes soft upper doors that fit directly over your original steel 1/2 door frames (not included). The upper door skin glass is clear for maximum visibility of your side mirrors. Easy to install door skin design; simply cut off your old fabric and replace with the new. These soft upper doors are engineered to last, but should you ever need replacements, we sell replacements separately.

I love the look and feel of this top. However, the zipper on the passenger side for the side window is not properly aligned. The problem this causes is that the side window cannot be properly installed causing a lot of noise and wind. I emailed MasterTop, but did not receive any response. Now I will have to remove the top and have the zipper removed and realigned.

The top appears to be small. This is the 4th top I’ve put on this jeep and by far it was the hardest to install.

Before I bought this I researched tons of reviews and people either love or hate their top. I had a factory top that had seen better days and wanted to try this to get a fresh look. The initial install was easy on the jeep top, but when it came to the doors it was difficult. The top is tight and doesn’t sag or hold water like some I have seen. The windows are also tight with a nice heavy duty zipper that seems like they will last. When you get to the doors they are a pain. The doors are extremely tight so going over the metal frame is extremely hard. I tried heat, spoons water etc. and the only thing that helped me was using the handles of a pair of pliers over the corners to slide both sides over it at the same time. The doors seal great with very little leakage when I wash the jeep and almost none when it rains. The only thing I didn’t like about the doors are the velcro that holds them together. It just doesn’t hold well and you constantly have to re apply it. The interior of the door is not as appealing as the factory doors either and I think it should have been black in color on the inside and outside of the material. Overall I definitely would buy again and would recommend to anyone because it looks great , keeps water out , reduced the wind noise , and a year later it is still as tight as the day I got it.

I have a 99 TJ, and I wanted to trade out the old black top, in exchange for a tan. It was super easy to put on. I have half doors so I purchased the package with the window skins. They were difficult to put on, it took two people, bit it helped laying them in the sun and heating them up. All back windows have a dark tint. Zippers were easy to zip up. It smells to high heaven, but I believe that will go away with time. It was a great buy.

Overall I liked the product. The heavy sailcloth fabric is just as thick as a bestop sailcloth top. The windows are very thick, which is desirable. The top does not flap for me, even going 70 mph. The zippers are nice and on the heavy duty side.The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I believe the seller sent me a returned top. The rear window had a scratch on it that is pretty large, about 10 inches long and a quarter inch wide. That part sucks because these windows are very nice, pressed instead of rolled. If I got a replacement rear window from them then I’d give it 5 stars.

Good replacement top. Very nice quality with proper sizing. Appears that it will be durable for quite some time. Difficult to install so that the fit is appropriate. This is to be expected especially on initial install. Bought one for my daughter a couple years after acquiring mine.

Set out in the sun, remember how you took off the old fabric, and it goes on easy. Took about 30 minutes for me and a friend to remove old top and get this installed. Some ripples on the rear window, but hoping that will smooth out with a little time. Very happy with the quality and tint level.
