Pumps massive amounts of air into the tank but is horribly loud, useful for enormous tanks with bunkers coving the entire floor of the tank. Air hose was very long and allows the unit to be placed inside a cabinet to reduce noise far away from tank.

Too noisy. Better would be if it had a built in frequency reducer. Since this operates directly on AC at 50-60Hz, it generates hysteresis noise. Conceptually good, but noisy especially at night.

It works fine, but it is so loud that it's annoying (and on the box and description, it specifically states, "Quiet Running" and you cannot even say that it's "relatively quiet" so that's false advertising, but it does have a positive attribute, but I cannot say it's OK, I "don't like it" therefore I gave it a two stars. The pro is that it has been running non-stop for two years, so the reliability factor is there, but with so many options, I won't buy this pump again. I took it away from my quiet peaceful tank and stuck it outside where I keep my RO water and use it to create bubbles in the water reservoirs.

Faulty wiring on pumps can be a potential shock hazard. Best to try another product for safety sake!

This air pump really pumps out the bubbles. My fish were afraid of it at first, but now they love the "bubble baths!" This suits my 75 gallon tank perfectly.

Other than being a little loud, it works as indicated. It is pretty powerful too. I would say it's a good value for the money.
