A nice low-key Tactical bag. Straps were a little to thin of padding for comfort. Size was just right. Ended up returning it because I was looking for a little more park pocket dividing

I’ve gotten a few different small bags and backpacks lately and I have to say, this one is probably the best for actual back packing in a serious way. It maybe one of the best all around small backpacks I’ve had the pleasure is using. A lot of thought went into its design. They put enough limiting straps all over the pack. I’ve tried to capture this in the photographs, but this pack is clearly designed to be used and used heavily. Many packs look great until you put some weight in them and they just can’t keep their integrity. The straps are great for this as well as tucking in and tying down bed rolls or fishing rods, etc. Even the way the pack rides empty. Most packs fit the way you want them to loaded, when they are empty because they know when you try them on at the store or right after you first buy them, they fit right so you buy them. Then when you load them up, they tend to sit too low or need a lot of adjustment. This pack sits a bit high empty. The cushions and breathing strips on the back aren’t compressed, leaving it a bit high, and the hip belt hits a bit higher. Again, compared to other packs I’ve had where it sits right immediately, once it is loaded it is now sitting down on your rear. The materials also deserve recognition. The material is clearly branded Cordura and when I went to check, as I suspected the zippers are brand YKK. So this pack is well designed, well engineered frankly, and top materials are used.Definitely a good buy in my book.

Writing this after receiving the backpack, I’ll come back later and update my review.[TL;DR]Only first impressions; Decent quality backpack for the price, excellent hardware and bag material.[Background]I was looking for a black backpack to use at college for at least 5 years, hopefully longer. I was in the market for a decently built backpack with a max price of $60-80. I was looking at the amazon choice bags, but the reviews suggested that they lacked something, either zippers, space, or materials. So after some searching, I set my sights on Mardingtop (mainly because I saw that their bags used YKK hardware.) What I gathered from the reviews on the other 35L bags that are offered is that the material used is a little light. So I looked at the Cordura series of packs they offer.[First Impressions]I bought the black version of the 35L bag and it looks promising. The bag feels quality, the zippers feel strong and I’m a big fan of the use of paracord pulls tabs. There seems to be ample pocket space for at least a 2-3 day trip if you pack efficiently. I’m not going to cover the padding yet as I haven’t truly had shoulder time with this bag. I was happy to find that the side pockets could hold water bottles! With that being said, I cannot completely zip up the pocket with a 32oz Nalgene in the pocket. It will zip up most of the way, but not completely. I wish that they advertised this as I was a little hesitant to purchase a bag without accessible water bottle pockets. All things said, I am happy with my purchase.[Future]Once I have figured out my layout of items, I’ll update this review to expand my thoughts on the pockets and padding.

After bumming around the woods during hunting season for years with a pack that was just good enough, I decided to give this one a shot. So far, I am quite happy with it. Seems very well made, and is thoughtfully designed. The material is a little bit loud, but not too much so. I don't anticipate this will give me away TOO easily when stalking in the thick brush... at least not any more so than my current pack. I love all of the straps that allow you to really situate things in it in such a way that things stay put. It's also very comfortable. Overall this is a pretty great little hunting pack and I can't wait to really put it to the test this fall when hunting season rolls around.

Hardly ever write reviews but this back pack is high quality. Absolutely worth the money. Very comfortable zippers seem flawless and when I wear it, it doesn’t hurt my lower back. The straps are well designed and you can also “hide” the lower wider straps for normal everyday use or you can unhide them and use this bag as a great hiking bag too

Good quality material. Lots of pockets and compartments. Molle webbing allows for the addition of other molle pouches
