Great for the kids room or classroom! Easy to install. The magnet strength is pretty good

This is a staple in our playroom! My toddler is absolutely in love with putting his magnets on his wall everyday. This magnetic board works great and can even hold “weaker” magnets. It is thick and the back is very sticky. It holds to the wall very well and is sturdy. We have been using it for months and my kid never gets bored of it. My only concern is that it may stick a little too well and I worry we will have peeled paint when it comes time to finally remove it from the wall.

My toddler loved it- the magnet strength isn't real strong unfortunately, but it still worked. I used duct tape and taped it on the wall for my daughter when I was trying to do dishes in the kitchen, she had a blast writing her abcs, 123s and drawing the Bluey family. 4/5 due to magnet strength.

This is fairly thick as far as contact paper goes. That makes it easier to install than the thinner papers, but this has super tacky adhesive and is also more difficult to remove and reposition. It arrives rolled and has no creases. The included markers work well on this paper. I wanted this to have a magnetic surface on my RV refrigerator, and this was a letdown for that purpose. The magnetic pull is not very strong. It will hold the cheap foam magnets that are also included, but not anything much heavier than that. Not a holder for the pens, for sure. This still is useful and I can use this as a backing for additional adhesives for the pen holder, but I had hoped it would be more magnetic without needing to do that. This does not warrant a deduction of my rating, however, because it is clearly stated in the description that it is not magnetic itself and the limitations. This is more wet erase chalkboard surface than magnetic. If that suits your purposes, I recommend considering this.

I got this magnetic blackboard so I could write on my fridgeOveral the packaging was okay, I imagine some will get damaged in transit from the thin plastic wrap being its only protection , however mine arrived fine without scratchesFirst off the bat you see some handy recommendations as to where to apply the sticker ( yes this is a sticker sheet , it’s not a flat piece of board)Inside the tube you’re greeted with a set of 12 chalk markers , a back of foam letters a bag of foam numbers fake wood trim sticker (for those who want a border to their chalkboard) and a mini micro-fiber mitten to cleanAll the markers worked flawlessly ( for those who know chalk markers don’t expect them to live more than a few weeks , they thend to dry quick)The foam letters and numbers were flimsy and bent however useable, I don’t have high hopes for their durability but they should last a good year before you throw them outOverall the sticker is super sticky , realivly easy to install on a flat surface (lookup YouTube on how to install window tint as a guide if unfamiliar with big stickers)The finish is very sleek but still allows the markers to wright on it , they don’t rub off without water so that’s a great bonus for those wanting to keep the writing on for a few days or weeks before removing.Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy chalkboard to make it’s easy to use and a relative bargain!

I got this magnetic chalkboard contact paper to cover the wood panel fridge in our RV because I wanted to be able to put magnets on it and it worked really well for that application. Because the vinyl is so thick, it's pretty easy to get on without bubbles or wrinkles. The adhesive is very strong. Be aware that if you put this directly on your wall, it will do some damage whenever the time comes to remove it. If I was putting this in a kid's playroom or something I would probably actually put it on a thin sheet of plywood or wallpanel board or something and then I would hang that on the wall like a normal chalkboard or bulletin board to limit wall damage and make this reusable in different locations. This does come rolled around a tube. To make it easier on yourself to cut and install, I recommend laying it out flat and weighing it down for a while before you want to use it. I didn't do this, but I wish I had. Most of the magnets I tried on this worked pretty well, I had one cheap magnet that wouldn't stick. I have not tried the markers or magnets that came with this, since my use of this is just for the magnetic surface.I'm really impressed with this fun product and will be thinking of ways that I can use more of it.

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my daughter as this was on her wish list. She was excited with the board and followed the instructions on how to hang on the wall, including washing the wall ahead of time. The board has adhesive on the back and after removing the backing was easy to install on the wall. The board looked great and she transferred her magnets from the refrigerator to the new magnetic chalkboard. Off to a great start. Next day, she returned home to find the board on the ground, no longer sticking to the wall. So the board works great but ended up requiring her to put nails in the wall to hold the chalkboard up which was the thing she was trying to avoid in the first place. All that to say, the board is 5 stars but the adhesive backing was the weak link that earned a 1 star rating because it failed. She still loves the board and is enjoying the room to be able to spread out the magnet collection so it serves the purpose, just not quite as intended.
